We dined here on 7/23 with a 8:15 reservation. Upon arrival, I requested to be seated in the main dining room and as a result, we didn't get our table until 9:00. We had a table in between the main stage and the stage in the center of the room and I have to say, it made dinner alot of fun! It was dark and loud but that was part of the experience. As far as the food, my DH and I both ordered the Braised Be Beef and it was very good. It came served in a pot and was soaking in a wonderful sauce/gravy. My DS (15) got the fish and chips and while it tasted fine, it was on the small side. The fish and chips at Yorkshire Fish Shop in Epcot was much larger and better tasting. My DD got the burger and she enjoyed it. I had to try the Bread Pudding for dessert as that was all I heard about...and it was good, but our family enjoyed the bread pudding at Ohana 10x better. This is a place we would definitely consider returning to.

I'm not a huge fan of buffets but we had to try Cape May for the the Crab Legs. We dined here on 7/24. Our reservation was for 5:45 and we got seated right away. Our server was very slow to greet us to take our drink order and I don't think she smiled once or said more than 5 words. Our family focused on the crab legs and they were probably some of the best we've had!!! Hot, always full on the buffet and easy to open. The steamed clams were very good and we also had the strip loin, perfect medium rare! The calamari and fried clams were a little too salty. The kids enjoyed the mini-cupcakes for dessert. I can't say we tried too many other items as the crab legs were our main focus. We almost went back a second time during our 9 day stay. This will be a must do for all future trips!!!

We have wanted to try this place for a long time and finally had the opportunity. It was awesome! The service was outstanding and the small plates were great. We enjoyed everything we had and definitely plan to go back as much as we can! I would highly recommend going here for snacks or a meal. You can order from the full menu from the restaurant next door, but you really shouldn't.

The service here was excellent as was the bread and appetizer (antipasto). The food however left much to be desired. My husband and son had the giant meatball dinner. It was probably made of 75% parsley. It was very strange. I had one of the pasta dishes that was just very forgettable. It had little taste and was dry. I can't recommend coming here since we don't plan on returning.

We just got back from our first stay at the Beach Club Villas (Aug. 2 - Aug. 9, 2015) and we couldn't have been more happy!! We loved everything about our stay!! We requested room 536 and got it! Our one bedroom was plenty big for me, my husband, and our two boys (8 & 11), and spic-and-span clean!! The staff was extremely friendly and eager to help us with anything that we needed at any time! We were on the dining plan so the refillable mugs at the pool and market place were great! Also, there were a lot of snack and quick service options, and the food was great! We have absolutely no complaints and can't wait to come back again next year!!

Columbia Harbor House is one of our favorite quick service restaurants at WDW. I love their Shrimp and Clam Chowder. Also the Lobster Roll is excellent.
I would, though, recommend getting there early for better seating.

We were there from June 24th - June 28th...sorry for the last posting.
This was my very first time at a 'value' resort and I will tell you I was very surprised. I thought I would hate it but I didn't. There were some things I missed like the 'welcome' home when you come back from the parks; the elevator must have been 200 degrees; and they really need to cover where the people are waiting for the buses. They do have coverage where the benches are but if you wait there you will never get on the bus.
Again I was pleasantly surprised. However, I am a moderate girl as I like the little perks that a moderate gives you.
Pros:

Need to cover where people wait for the busReview of Wilderness Lodge (Deluxe Resort)

Second stay at Wilderness Lodge. We had a great room (5167 if anyone wants a primo view of Bay Lake). But with WL rooms, expect significant noise from pool, boats traffic, movies on beach, and water pageant. Rooms were adequate but sparsely decorated. And furniture looked worn and old. WL rooms surely need an upgrade, and quick. AND, most disturbing, was lack of adequate charging stations for electronics and phones. Most hotels now have as standard charging stations on desks for multiple electronic devices.
Check-in/out and concierge staff was efficient and friendly, bag handlers at beginning and end were talkative, attentive and friendly.
Pool was nice, and well-staffed by lifeguards.
Whispering Canyon this trip was good, not great. No wait staff on our night seemed really into it, not just ours, just seemed a rather dead night. Roaring Forks is adequate, but nothing to rave about, in the least.
Boats were a hidden joy, riding the boats back from MK at night while watching WISHES may have been the highlight of our trip. Buses on other hand were sporadic and often crowded, and I cannot believe the amounts you pay for DELUXE RESORTS and you cannot get your own bus. Deluxe Resorts should not have to share buses in my opinion.
All in all, still a great resort, just nothing that stood out. There were no magical moments--for instance the one towel animal received was a simple one-rag mouse (adequate but not memorable)--although there were really good moments. This resort still is impressive, and I would even say worth the Deluxe prices, BUT there needs to be an upgrade in service to provide those magical DISNEY memories.
This seemed to be a theme throughout our vacation. Everything was very good, but nothing this time around that was truly magical--with exception of Yak & Yeti, San Angel Inn, and Rose & Crown. WDW was great, just needs that extra little bit that they are known for, it seemed missing this trip.
Pros:
Views, Friendly Staff, Trans. to MK & lake resorts, PoolCons:

We checked in August 1 following a Disney cruise for two nights. We go to Disney often, are ap holders and dvc members. From the moment we checked in we were met with the rudest staff ever. Waited over 5 hours for our villa to be ready and it was so dirty. The one request we had was to be close to main lobby/elevators since I have feet problems. What room did we get, yep clear down at the end of the level 3 pumba hallway. You couldn't go by the hours on the gift shop, the only place other than the pool you could refill your mugs, maybe they would stay open until 11 maybe not. Save your points and money, eat a meal at sanea and enjoy the animals but don't stay here.

Second time at sit-down, and meal on JULY 25 was amazing.
Each time we have eaten, the food has been fantastic. Our table had Teriyaki Mahi-Mahi, and Tempura Shrimp.
BEST DESSERT of the WEEK of our VACATION: FRIED WONTONS. Unbelievable.
