We had lunch here on 7/29 before heading to Magic Kingdom for the afternoon. Husband had the flatbread and a soda and I ordered a children's meal fish sandwich. Soda had up to 4 refills and flatbread was good, according to hubby. Kids sandwich was a decent size portion along with grapes and apple slices for sides. Ended up being a nice light lunch. Plenty of seating available and entertaining to watch the monorail go by. Would recommend and will return again.
Pros:
Not crowded, nice healthy choicesCons:

We were staying at Bay Lake Tower and made a special trip over to the Kona Café for lunch on 7/31. A quick monorail ride and then over to Magic Kingdom makes for a nice break from the park during the hot part of the day. Thoroughly enjoyed the fish tacos! The shell was more like a fried chalupa shell and was crunchy and delicious. Pasta salad and slaw sides were ok, and enjoyed the chocolate torte dessert. Would definitely recommend and will return again.
Pros:
Not too crowded, nice choices of foodCons:

Husband and I attended the 8pm show on 7/29 in the category 1 section. We were a party of 2 and we were served the same amount of food as the party of 4 next to us. Our drinks were refilled often and server was present throughout the meal to make sure we were well taken care of. Enjoyed the interactive parts of the show where the audience was invited to come up and dance for birthdays/anniversaries etc. Also enjoyed the fire twirler- highlight of the show. We would probably not bring our young children as the show was over 2 hours long, but would definitely return for a date night without kids.
Pros:
Generous quantities of food, good serviceCons:

We went for a short getaway 7/29-7/31 and stayed in a studio lake view on DVC points. Room was quiet and clean, short walk to elevator and then Contemporary main shopping area. Easy access to monorail, average wait time for bus to DHS. Enjoyed getting to see the fireworks from the Top of the World Lounge. Would definitely recommend and will most definitely return again!
Pros:
Great transportation access, quiet room, fireworks viewCons:

My granddaughter (age 11) and I took this great experience on Wednesday July 22nd, 2015. I would like to comment on the care and kindness we were shown by Becky and Karen. They were excellent guides and knew a lot about the animals and their habitats. My granddaughter, Macey was a little frightened at first because it was a total surprise that she was even doing this event! Becky and Karen put her at ease immediately and we had so much fun with them. Macey misses them and are in hopes they come to CA. some day so we can meet up with them again! I hope they are able to see this post!! If you can do this Trek I highly recommend the fun! Tell Becky and Karen that Terry and Macey said "Hello!"

This was the first dinner I had to book at my 180 day mark and had no issues. We dined here on 7/21. I requested the West Wing and was told it could be an extra 30 minute wait, however we were seated right at our reservation time. The restaurant was beautiful, we sat right by the fireplace. There was constant traffic around us with guests looking around and taking pictures. My DH ordered the Shrimp and Scallops in puffed pastry and it was delicious, much larger than expected with alot of shrimp and scallops. My DS ordered the Strip Steak and it was average. My Braised Pork was very tender and I enjoyed it. The star dish was my DD's Pork Chop...it was not dry, wonderful sauce served on the side and she loved the mac and cheese. We shared they grey stuff, chocolate and lemon cupcakes. A very enjoyable first night in Disney!!!

DH and I came in to cool off from the heat and get a drink. He had a beer of some kind and of course I had to get a Moscato D'Asti. YUM!!! We have eaten food here in the past such as the meatball sliders and the cavatappi pasta dishes and both were good.

We came for dinner on 7/22 @ 6:45 and had to wait close to 30 minutes past our reservation time. It was cool in the waiting area and a nice break from the heat, so we didn't mind the wait. I was looking forward to the atmosphere and experience and this restaurant didn't let us down as far as that aspect. The food, however did not impress. My DD had the chicken pasta, it was mushy and the basil cream sauce was very heavy on the basil which she didn't care for. My DH, DS and I all had burgers which were nothing special. The kids did like the milkshakes!! I will mention, I'm almost never cold (especially in the Florida summer heat) but I was freezing!!! in this restaurant. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater won't make our must do list on future visits.
