Stayed at Kidani from June 7-14. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. My only issues were transportation, though the electronic signs were very helpful, and the fact that the seal on our fridge had a huge gap. I imagine that it wasted quite a bit of power, and though I reported it, it was never addressed.

This is one of my families favorite experiences at Disney. We have been able to sit outside and watch Illuminations while finishing our dessert and tea. I had the masala ordered extra spicy. My kids got the burgers. We all enjoyed the food, especially the sticky toffee pudding. This is one dessert I refuse to share.

This was our first time going here, but our group of 8 couldn't decide on what to eat, so make an executive decision to try here figuring it would be fast. I was wrong. Though the counter staff was trying their best, food just wouldn't come out as quickly as needed. With such a limited menu, I can't figure out what the hold up was. It got so bad, that it was almost impossible to get to the condiment station. And when I did, there was no ketchup.

This location had quite a bit of build up on the forums, but i don't believe it met them in my mind. Nothing I tried was poorly prepared, but I was expecting more exotic options. I guess when I looked at the list of what 'might' be on the buffet, I just see things that I would have preferred. My favorites were the black olive humus and the zebra dome.

This has become a traditional first night meal of our vacation. We are able to arrange flights, parks, transportation, whatever is needed to get here. It is not our usual habit to consume this much food, but for Ohana we make an exception. The pot stickers and wings always get us off to a great start. This trip, when my son asked for some additional pot stickers, hoping for two, our server brought a plate of 10. We finished them. The meats and dessert were perfectly done and appreciated.

I have given this restaurant several chances just because I love the atmosphere, but in all honesty I have never had a good meal here and definitely not worth the price. I'm pretty adventurous, in fact Indian is one of my favorites, and love a good buffet where you can find your favorites and go back for more of the things you love. but for me, this just doesn't happen here. I never can find anything that I want to try more than once. Nothing on the buffet is THAT good except for maybe some of the soups. However, I just can't justify $60 worth of soup. Even the much touted zebra domes are nowhere near worth the hype that they get. I mean they are good, but I can't figure out why people go on and on about them as if they are the best thing on the planet. They're good. I would leave it at that. At Boma I always have that scary, "I'm not sure what I'm eating" feeling that you never want to have. I try to remind myself that this is Disney and nothing is going to be too far out there, but the descriptions on the foods are very vague. I'm adventurous as far as food combinations but I'm not one to stray too far from chicken, beef or pork. I don't do gamey stuff or lamb etc. and the combinations just don't sound appealing at all. Nothing about watermelon rind salad sounds fabulous IMO. Just a little too out there for me and I don't want to pay a fortune for a carving station like you'd find at Golden Corral. If they had just one or two dishes that were to die for I might have a different opinion, but as it stands, unless you want to try bizarre foods and things you're not likely to run into ever again.

Stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for eight nights in June. Really pleasantly surprised! They honored my special requests for room location, mousekeeping was amazing (thank you Ramon!) - several wonderful towel animals through the week, beds were made with military precision, not a dust bunny or stray hair to be found - spotless. I tend to peak under the sheets and examine the mattress - older mattresses, but comfortable and no stains) :).
I had stayed here once before a month after the resort opened (I think 1998) and forgot how beautiful the grounds and buildings were. This time, we stayed in the Casitas section... loved it. So beautiful. For those contemplating which "region" to stay... I liked Casitas best, then Ranchos (if you don't mind a bit of a walk to the main buildings). I personally found the theming of the Cabanas section least impressive, though still beautiful. We rented a car, so I can't comment on bus service or the walk to the main buildings (though I see why other's have said it could be quite a hike from your room to the main areas).
I am a big Disney full-service restaurant fan, so we only used the Pepper Market food court twice (lunch the first day and breakfast the last morning). Service at the counter was a bit slow and food was so-so. Had to use the Business Center to ship a package home... convenient and effective, but service was a bit in need of training - very polite, just not fully up to speed. LOVED Panchito's gift shop... nice Coronado specific merchandise and friendly, helpful staff. Front desk staff was pleasant and effective at check-in and check-out.
I have stayed at several Disney Deluxe hotels during other recent trips and I would say Coronado holds it's weight comparatively. Was nervous that the convention center would damper my vacation mood, but never saw a suit or briefcase the entire week (maybe no conventions were booked while I was there). Would recommend and would stay here again.
