I had booked this tour 180 days in advance along with carriage ride. I checked again at the 90 day mark no issues. I had coupon for discount which was noted. We arrived after eating at Garden Grill for breakfast as we wanted the first tour. My dh went to check us in and they couldn't find our ressies. I forgot to bring confirmation # with us so lesson learned. I do have to say the castmembers tried everything to locate this. My concern was that I had reserved it with a credit card so I didn't want it billed twice. I had to keep checking my bank account to make sure this didn't happen. Missed the first tour because of this which messed up our fast passes. We were able to get on the next tour and was very nice but since it was at noon it was very hot. You tour the greenhouses. I have read earlier posts where children are allowed to release butterflies. My dd7 was the only child so they didn't do this. She was able to feed the fish and taste cucumbers. Everyone enjoyed this tour and glad we did it.

It had been a long time since I stayed at PO Riverside as I try to get FQ or CB but I was pleasantly surprised during my Memorial Day trip to Riverside. Everything was great except the king mattress is about 10 years overdue to be replaced, nothing but squeaky bouncy springs in your back. It was awful. We wrote to Disney and they offered a free night which was more than we could ask for, we will definitely stay here again in a double queen room next time.
Pros:

We usually go to Mama Melrose's on the first night of our visit. After checking in a bit early, and surviving the typical chaos of the waiting area, we were lead to our table about on time. Our waitress was a bit older and less peppy, but she did a great job attending to our needs--a real veteran. We had 3 different flatbreads and the lasagna and all were excellent. My carne d'italia was a real star; enormous hunks of pancetta with the crust crisped just right. The mixed green salad was also good and big enough to share. My DDs had tiramisu and enjoyed it. Meal with tip came to about $25/pp (no alcohol) which I thought was reasonable. We will continue our tradition in the future.
Pros:
Food; fair valueCons:

We tried Harambe Market a week ago. The windows for ordering are now clearly marked. Had the gyro sandwich. After ordering, you move to the next window. The food was ready within 30 seconds and was very hot. You can watch how they put the order together through the open window. The meat and sauce were very good (though not like a gyro where the meat is sliced from a rotating spit). The papaya salad was good but the bean salad was the star. I could have eaten a pint of it. The pita bread was the mass produced version available at any supermarket; thick, stiff, and barely grilled. Good value and good alternative to burger/fries/pizza.
Pros:
Fast. hot, tastyCons:

We had lunch here last week and enjoyed it. I had the salad with chicken breast; good quality with spicy salsa that kicked it up a notch. Wife had the veggie burger; she liked it but it came with some much dressing/salsa that it fell apart and was difficult to eat. One DD had shepherd's pie and liked it; other DD had burger which she finished (she never finishes anything). They shared a milkshake and gave it the thumbs up. Not a cheap lunch but good for special gathering.

We ate here twice on our recent visit. One time had a kids meal with two fruit sides; the next, the salad with chicken with avocado-cilantro dressing. This comes with a very thin wheat tortilla printed with R2D2 icons (cute). The salad was of high quality. My wife had the Dark Side chicken and waffles. The waffles were standard Mickey waffles but the fried boneless chicken consisted of white breast meat--significantly better than typical nuggets. An added bonus is the refillable soda which is a Godsend on hot days.
Pros:
Cool, quiet, good selectionCons:

We will still eat here, but just not as often. Menu changes have removed one of our favorite items. We still like other options, but what was once my favorite meal in all of WDW, alas, has gone away.
Also the last two times we were there (April & May), I swear it was race between the two servers in our area to see who could sit, serve, and complete in the quickest time. Of course the more parties, the more tips, the more I am sure they get bonus points...but we love sitting near the windows, and eating a relaxed meal and people watch as we dine.
If you sit way to the left as you face from out front, there is a character entry/exit doorway and you get to wave and grab a pic of characters as they go in and out! A small but added bonus.
Pros:
Still some good dishes to be hadCons:

We ate here on our recent visit. The steak dinner is a good bargain--a quality (thin) strip sirloin coked very well. It came with a huge serving of green beans and fries. The whole thing cost less than the burger on the menu. While waiting for the order, I watched them making the Asian salads to order as they came through. Pretty good value and selection though the menu is a bit all over the place.
Pros:
Steak, lots of seatingCons:

We are still fond of the filet...albeit pricey. We have dined here many many times and for the first time, one of our party got a filet that was so under cooked, you could hear it moo as they took it back.
We like it rare, but this was even cold in the middle. It has never happened, and I hope it was a one time glitch.
My only complaint is the closeness of the tables, depending on where you are seated. I do not want to hear about your Uncle Charlie's goiter, or that you have had the flu for 9 days but are a little better today and then sneeze on my arm. Or make a comment to my wife and have the next table comment on my comment.
I know the dining room is quite small, but still....either add on to it somehow, out or up or whatever, or take out a few tables here and there for elbow room. Then it would be hard to find a fault.
Pass the pretzel bread please....

This used to be one of our favorites, but I have to report that due to our most recent visit in April, we will select a different character meal until the menu changes. We used to love the food here and the kids loved the character interaction. The food was literally so salty, that I could not eat it. We had been here in December and food was great. When I asked the CM if something had changed since then, she was a bit snippy. We'll stick with 50's Prime Time when in Hollywood Studios now.
P.S. The increase in price at this location for "dinner" at lunch time put me over the edge on this one.
