This has been the only consistent restaurant in Disney for the past 40 years. Recommend the Reuben or the chicken and strawberry salad. Nice break from the hustle and bustle of the park and not as Disneyfied as some of the other restaurants. Unfortunately their potato salad has been taken off the menu but I do like their homemade potato chips.

Pros:

Always Consistent

We ate here in April 2016 by accident. A rainy night caused us to look for shelter and found this location with seating available. It was a great discovery. The food was so good. Not your typical park burgers. Really nice options - the rice bowls were great. The price of bowling was a bit outrageous, but if we are ever stuck on a rainy day again, we will splurge.

Pros:

Food was really good

Cons:

Bowling prices

We ate here several times during our stay. You can pick and choose from the various stations depending on your appetite and tastes that day. The fish tacos were outstanding. They have expanded seating a bit so we had no trouble getting a table.

Pros:

Wide variety, fast

Cons:

Noisy

Review of Rose and Crown Lunch/Dinner

We ate here our last night in WDW. Waited about ten minutes past our reservation time. Server was excellent. DDs had the fish and chips which they devoured in no time. Wife had the masala; huge portion, not too spicy. I had the coronation salad, which was a disappointment. The previous frisee salad was much better. This was more like a serving of coleslaw. Main dish was the pub burger. I'm hypercritical of burgers but this one gets my approval. The patty is huge; the rarebit sauce is a nice change from a slice of cheese. I was skeptical about the fried leeks but they were delicious, especially when mixed with the rarebit. Easily the best burger I've had in WDW. The sticky toffe pudding was also a hit. We ate way too much.

Pros:

good food, variety, service

Cons:

can be noisy

Went to Crystal Palace for the first time in years on our trip earlier in 2016 and will not return. The food was sparse, lukewarm and not a variety of choices. Was much better years ago when it was a cafeteria.

While I like the characters (which they rush) I wouldn't go back - I am paying almost $50 for food not pictures with the characters.

Pros:

Location and characters

Cons:

Food

My daughter and I ate here for a very early dinner. They were very accommodating, as we split a steak and it came to the table already divided and individually plated. Perfectly done, very tender and tasty. The wine tasting was outstanding. Quick, courteous service. Altogether an experience worth repeating.

Pros:

Excellent food and service

Cons:

Juicy, nicely cooked burger. Generous toppings. We could have just split one and a small box of fries. Seating area could have been designed better. Too many stools and high tops. Two burgers, one fries, one beer, one coke, was 43.00. Pricey

Pros:

Very good burgers

Cons:

Pricey, seating

Server was outstanding and very much into the theme of the restaurant, also extremely prompt with drink refills. The dumpling appetizer was outstanding. We also had the chicken entrée and the Char sui pork. The chicken was excellent and pork just a little bit dry, but still pretty good. The chocolate volcano dessert was quite tasty. Décor was great. Nice to have another table service choice at the Magic Kingdom.

Server, appetizer

Lunch..... Salad (12), Fries (9) Mahi tacos (21), 1 glass wine (12), Kids chicken strips (10), kid's icee (6). Lunch total for 2 adults and 1 child = $70 plus tip. That's right - fish tacos, salad, fries, a glass of wine and kids meal and an icee cost us a grand total of $82. That is freakin' insane. And my kid said the chicken fingers tasted funny.

Pros:

Decor

Cons:

Too Expensive

Very busy when we were there. Service was somewhat slow as a result. Food was good. We had salmon and sushi and portions were a nice size, not too large, and quite tasty.

Pros:
