Review of Earl of Sandwich

I was spending an evening at Downtown Disney and stopped for dinner at pretty much the only place in Downtown Disney I will eat at, Earl Of Sandwich.
They recently put the famous Holiday Sandwich (Oven Roasted turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mayonnaise, and gravy) on the permanent menu so I had to try it.
It tasted even better than it was described. I enjoyed every bite and you wish it was a bit bigger.
Earl Of Sandwich is better than Subway and Quiznos combined and deserves a visit if you are in the area.
The lines can get long but move very quickly. There isn't much indoor seating but it has a lot of outdoor seating which makes for a perfect spot to people watch a while.

Photopass is one of the best ideas Disney ever came up with. No more of the one unlucky person being left out of the shot of taking multiple shots rotating who has the camera.
Simply hand the Photographer your card or ask for a card. They will scan it and take pictures of you with park icons (i.e. Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, the Sorcerer's Hat, and the Tree Of Life) or with the characters. They will even take photos with your camera if asked.
When you get home you type in the code on the back of the card and you can see your photos, edit them if you want, and even added borders if you like. Sometimes you get a little surprise.
The only downside to Photopass is if you order the Photo CD is is very expensive at $150 no matter what the number of pictures on the account is.
Also a couple times I have returned from a trip and viewed my pictures to find pictures from other groups included with mine. I only hope the other groups got there pictures. Makes me wonder how many other people got my pictures.
Pros:
Everyone can be in the photo, Got great candid shotsCons:

The Magical Express is a God send!
When you book your vacation be sure to book a ride on the Magical to and from the resort. They send you a little booklet with your ride voucher. Be sure to carry the whole booklet with you! They also send you a default of 1 luggage tag per person but you can always request more. If you attach the tag to your luggage Disney will pick it up and deliver it to the resort for you. The downside is that it may take up to 4 hours for your luggage to arrive in your room.
The recent trip I took I amazed to walk into my room for the first time and see that my luggage actually beat me to the resort!
It is so nice to get off the plane and bypass baggage claim and get right on the bus.
Disney's buses are all air conditioned with comfortable seats. As soon as you leave the airport a welcome video plays telling you about what all there is to do at WDW. Some drivers will even have everyone give a cheer as you pass through the magical gates onto Disney Property.
One downside is that one bus stops at up to 4 resorts so if your last in line it could take a while to get to your resort.
The day before you are set to leave WDW, Disney leaves a package on your door with your time to get picked up by the bus. It is usually around 3 hours before your scheduled take off time.
When it is time to leave just hand the driver the letter Disney left on your door the day before and get on the bus. A goodbye video will play along with information about Orlando International Airport.
You don't need to handle your luggage on the trip back either. between the hours of 5 AM and 1 PM simply take your bags to the resort luggage check in desk and they will tag your bags and print your boarding pass. Every time I do this my luggage is the first to come off at baggage claim. The Disney Magic follows you home!
The best part of the Magical Express is that it is completely free provided your staying on property. This is the only way to travel to/from the airport.
Pros:
Don't have to pay for a cab or rent a car, they handle your luggageCons:

We arrived around 11:30 without reservations and were seated very quickly. Had read poor reviews about this place, but really wanted to try it. I thought the food was delicious. My son thought the pizza was better at Via Napoli (the server said they made the best pizza), but enjoyed it and ate the whole thing. I would definitely return.

I was particularly looking for a shirt that said "Flower and Garden Festival - 20 years" but couldn't find one. I did find a few pins and an awesome tote bag ($5.00!). Enjoy the Festival!

My husband and I have been fortunate enough to have taken part many different "special" offerings in Disney including the Keys to the Kingdom tours, several spa visits, the Christmas and Halloween parties, etc. but none of these experiences have compared to the Wild Africa Trek. Hands down easily one of the best things we've ever done in the World and in the (real) world! Walking over the suspension bridges was such a rush! I have pictures I was taking of my husband while he walked over and I was on the other end; the smile on his face says it all. Another part of this experience that was great was the photopass CD we received in the mail from our tour guides a few weeks after we got home. One of our guides was there taking pictures of us as well as the animals and scenery throughout the tour and I loved having those professional photos to add to our collection. After a couple hours of the tour we receieved a delicious lunch out on the savannah with a gorgeous view as well as access to clean bathrooms. All the food was wonderful and of course, the jungle juice/frunch that they gave us (just like what's served at Boma or Kona Cafe) was tasty as always. While this tour was not cheap, I cannot recommend it enough! Amazing experience!!

I had lunch here during the recent Flower & Garden Festival because I had seen a photo of the rose gold cupcake on a Disney food blog and I had to try it. Delicious! Every single bite. And the turkey ciabatta sandwich was quite good also. I don't eat here often but when I do, I always enjoy it. I saw a lot of good looking food going by. I imagine there's something for everyone at this location. Prices are quite reasonable.

We have always had nice meals at Kona Cafe and our April lunch there was no exception. Our party of four ordered the Asian stir fry, Dashi noodle bowl with grouper, Verlasso salmon, soup of the day and sushi. We were all pleased with our choices and did some tasting of each others' dishes. So good! We ordered two Kona Cones for dessert and what a treat they were! Too cute-and yummy! Our waitress was great and took photos of our group-it had been a long time since we four had been together. Our bill was less painful with my niece's cast member discount. Meals are priced on the high side at Kona but it is vacation and it is Disney. Oh, and the lapu-lapus were great!

Three of us set out for dinner on a Saturday night in April to Disney Springs without a reservation. The wait at Frontera Cocina was an hour so we walked over to Morimoto and sat in the bar. The dinner menu was offered. The orange chicken was delicious and so was the Singapore Laksa noodles. We three enjoyed our meals and pots of tea very much. Our dinners were a good value.

I tried Pizza Ponte during my April visit to the Flower & Garden Festival. I'd seen photos of their offerings and everything looked so good. I made up my mind I would try the mushroom pizza and was glad I did. The piece was large and very good. I had a baba and a cappuccino too. Too many temptations in the pastry case! The baba was good but I probably won't repeat it any time soon. Cream puff next time and there will be a next time!
