We eat here every time we visit at least once if not twice (we have visited 6 times) and is on my family's must do list, in fact it is usually our first and last meal in Disney World. We are used to great service and food from this restaurant but sadly not the case this time. This time it was obvious that our food was sitting and was not fresh. Within about 5 minutes of ordering our food was at our table. The gravy was thick and gel like on the turkey and the pot roast had no visible gravy, although this was quickly remedied by the server bringing out a gravy boat. This time we were so rushed that we had a full sit down meal in 30 minutes. Not sure if we will return after this, we probably will and just hope it was an off day.

We eat here every trip and have never been disappointed. This was no exception. We made a late afternoon seating (2:50 PM. We arrived 20 minutes before our seating and were given a pager. After 20 minutes (and seeing other get seated who had arrive well after us) I went to the hostess stand and asked what was going on. It turned out they had 2 ressies with the same exact name (weird huh)and they seated the wrong one at our time. The other people had just walked up to the doors and the server seated them when they had not checked in, taking our name off the list! Anyway, once they figured out what had happened, they seated us right away. By this time it was at the very end of the lunch setting so by the time we got in, it was practically empty and the buffet line had been stripped of quite a bit of the food. Fortunately for us, the beer cheese soup (my favorite!) was still out as were the cold salads. They also had the spatzle and roasted pork, but not too many other hot dishes. Also, the hunter's sauce was missing (very disappointing). We still had enough to eat and as we sat there they started putting some of the dinner items out. Of course by that time we were ready to go so we didn't get to sample many of those. The band was great as always, playing with great enthusiasm for the handful of us that were there. Our server was very attentive (We were her only table of course). I will go back again, and I recommend this place to everyone, but I won't book that late again. I'll stick to a time no later than 2:00 PM.

My party of 4 picked this restaurant solely for the atmosphere which is fun and different than what you typically experience so the food was ok, it did the job but was nothing fantastic. The dessert was very good. However due to the horrific wait time with a reservation we will not return. When you are traveling with a diabetic who does their insulin based on the time of the reservation, a 45 minute wait with a reservation is ridiculous. We understand that waits happen but our wait was caused because of the hostesses seating walk ins and guests that were an hour early for their reservation BEFORE the reservations at that time because of the scene they were causing in the lobby. The atmosphere was good and very fun but it was not worth the 45 minute wait.

My party of 4 ate here and really enjoyed it. The appetizers are large enough to share and the entrees are delicious. The tempura shrimp were nice and crispy but not greasy at all. The chocolate pudding cake is fantastic but very rich. 3 of the 4 got the dessert wontons and were happy with them. So glad this is on the dining plan!

We stopped here one afternoon for a snack to tide us over until dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. My son was craving sushi and I knew they served it here. My son ordered the California Roll which came with 8 pieces if sushi. The price was very reasonable for the quantity of food he got and he said the sushi was fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband and I split an order of the tempura shrimp with udon noodles. This very expensive and basically was 2 pieces of tempura shrimp floating in a bowl of miso soup with udon noodles. the shrimp was soggy, the noodles overcooked. The miso was tasty though. Not even close to being a good value! Next time we go, I'll stick to the sushi and my husband said he'd get a bowl of the miso and order of rice (which we saw another couple do).

We ate here May 16, 2013. We wanted a quick, light snack to tide us over before our dinner at Ohana. When we went in, we were surprised to see a good variety of pastries and bagels with cream cheese. They also offered a limited sandwich menu. I opted for the chocolate croissant while my husband got the plain bagel in cream cheese. we split a large soda. Our total bill was around $10. Even if our son had come with us and we'd each gotten a bagel and a soda, our bill would have been less than $20. The pastry was slightly stale. I think they probably bring them out at the beginning of the day (we went at around 3:00 PM). The bagel was fresh. They toasted it perfectly and gave us plenty of cream cheese. My only other complaint was that you have to sit outdoors and the birds pestered us terribly. Still there was ample shade and at that time of day, plenty of tables. We will return there on our next trip for sure.

We last stayed at CBR May 9 - 18th. We drove all night and after breakfast off property I suggested we try to check in. To our pleasant surprise, not only was a room available in Jamaica building 45 as we requested, but they upgraded us to a water view! We stayed on the 2nd floor. At 1st I was hesitant as it's a tough walk at the end of a long day, but the room was wonderful.
The new linens are very comfortable and don't slip off the bed as much as the old ones. The Finding Nemo theme is gone except for the ceiling border of wallpaper. I think that might be because of new suites in the Art of Animation. personally I don't mind because in my opinion, it didn't really fit the Caribbean them (after all Finding Nemo took place off the coast of Australia). The white on white pattern is much more in keeping what you'd find in the islands anyway.
Mousekeeping was excellent. We had several towel animals left even though our mousekeeper knew we had only adults in the room. I had the opportunity to speak with her a few times and thanked her for making our stay special. She told me she loves her job. I wish all mousekeepers felt that way.
We ate at the food court only once (pizza), and were happy. we used our mugs pretty much every day, definitely a bargain.
My favorite thing was watching Illuminations from Martinique beach every night we were at the resort. Twice I was actually able to hear the music. The movies by the pool were fun too. As many adults were there as kids so i felt very comfortable. Bus service was excellent. We never waited more than 15 minutes and most times, one pulled up within 5. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Kidani from May 5- May 11th and I loved it! From the moment we pulled up, I was impressed with the theming of the resort. Everything was so beautiful. They offer a tour daily in which a cast member walks you around the resort and explains various aspects of the decor. I would recommend it, it was very interesting.
We stayed in a savannah view studio; I thought the rooms seemed quite larger than other DVC units; the bathrooms also seemed more spacious.
Of course the biggest draw of this resort is the animals. We didn't see as many animals outside our room as I was maybe hoping for, but we did see a decent amount and it was awesome. Plus, there were so many other places to view the animals throughout the resort that I didn't care.
Sanaa is amazing. It is my new favorite restaurant at Disney. Even if you aren't staying at Kidani, it is worth the trip.
The only thing I did not like about this resort is its size. They aren't kidding when they talk about how big the resort is! If you have mobility issues or small children, request a room as close to the lobby as possible. For us, it wasn't so bad and I liked stopping at all the windows to check out different parts of the savannah.
I would not hesitate to stay at Kidani again, although I don't think I would splurge for savannah view again. Plenty of other animal viewing spots throughout the resort.

Our family eat here for the second time on 5/11 and we were pleased with the visit. My wife and I had the Lobster pasta dish which was very good(and loaded with chunks of meat.), our daughter had the steak done just right-she really enjoyed it.) and our desserts were very good also. We like to be able to look at the aquarium while we are dining, and our server was excellent(and quite the comedian too!). Overall, we were very pleased with our visit and will be back next year.
