We were seated in the West Wing, which was great as the last time we were in the main ballroom which was a little noisy. Myself, DD24, Mom and Sister ate here on Aug 31. Our server was great, she really knew how to adapt herself to the party she was dealing with. I had the shrimp and scallops, it was good but don't know if I would order it again. Can't say anything was wrong with it but did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. DD24 had the Ratatouille, which she enjoyed very much. Sister had the Salmon, which she enjoyed. We each had a cupcake for dessert and all were enjoyed. Will eat here again.

Arrived early for our reservation and were seated not too long afterward at a corner table by the windows. We had plenty of time to people watch as it took over 2 hours for dinner to be completed. Our waiter Stephan was friendly. I had the pre-fixe menu with the lobster bisque and the half chicken. Both were really good. The chicken was moist and flavorful. DD24 had the Mac and cheese, which she somewhat enjoyed, it was very cheesey! Mom had something that she said was cold (but that seemed to be her theme for the week). Sister had the salmon which she also said was a little cold.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Have eaten here numerous times and have always enjoyed the fun. This time our waiter made an attempt but just did not fill the role. Also, he would disappear for long periods of time. I have the fried chicken, which is one of my favorites. Mom had the leftovers, which she said it was the best meatloaf she has ever had. DSister had the salmon, which she enjoyed. DD23 had left the park early, but we were able to take vegetable lasagna back to her at the hotel and she enjoyed it. For dessert I had the Boston Cream Parfait, it was wonderful as usual. Mom and sister had Dad's Brownie, which they enjoyed. Took smore's back to DD24 which is her favorite. All in all it was a good dinner in a normal restaurant. Missed the fun that we have experienced in the past, but will probably go back

The hotel was beautiful and the lobby smelled great. Tried to find out what they used, but no one would give up the secret. Stayed 8/28-9/5 with DD23, Mom and sister in separate room. We had a waterview room which gave a nice view of the lake and the boat launch. The room was clean and nicely maintained. The only complaint for the hotel is the lack of quick service food choices. You must walk to the Beach Club to get anything and it is a hike. Plus, they close before 11pm so you are out of luck if you want to fill your mug. Also, the choices available for snack were poor. If you want a cupcake, great. But healthy foods not so much. And the place always smelled of burnt cheese.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa the last week of August 2013. Everything was clean, in perfect working order, and beautifully themed. Make sure you bring your resort ID with you to the pool! They sometimes get a bit grumpy if you don't. All of the cast members (except that one lady at the pool) were really great. We ate one night at Beaches and Cream and loved it. The Beach Club Marketplace is just too small. There are not enough choices in the food section or the merchandise section. The other DVC resorts seem to have much more.
Pros:
The pool, restaurants, and proximity to EpcotCons:

Set up all days before we left. Easy to use, but kind of locks you into one park for most of the day. Other than that, worked out great for us.

Tested these 8/30 thru 9/7 and found them to be great for the most part. A few glitches when entering theme parks, but they have people there ready to help with the problem. Speeds up everything !

Quality starts with the product. You can have the best location, the friendliest staff, and the best prices. But if your product is bad then you have nothing. I walked into the Earl of Sandwich wanting to like this place. I really did.
I chose this place for lunch on 8/26. I ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sandwich and a drink. Unfortunately those sandwich makers that the Earl hired forgot two things. The chicken, and the jerk sauce. All I got was a bunch of peppers between the bread. This and the fact that the drink station is poorly located and very congested along with limited seating just can't make up for the so called "good prices" charged here.
I know this place will never be short of diners looking for a quick cheap meal. But i won't be eating here the next time i go to Downtown Disney.

I reluctantly give this a "yes" rating. A "4" rating should be a no, but I want to give this place the benefit of any doubt I may have.
The food is not on par for an Epcot quick service meal. The menu is limited, and the chips are stale. All in all, you pay too much for what you get. The tacos tasted good, but I got three very small tacos and a basket full of stale tortilla chips for a meal. Tortilla chips are a staple of any Mexican restaurant and they should always be fresh. The staff was friendly and filled my order quickly and accurately.
Seating here is a mess. I've heard they have problems with people needlessly taking up seats during the nightly IllumiNations. But I encountered this problem at 2pm. La Cantina needs to find a way to assure only guests who are dining can enter the seating area. I witnessed many people standing there with their trays of food just waiting for a table to open up. Then when one did I was entertained as the diners made their moves to secure the rare open seat. All the while people who weren't dining and just wanted to sit in the shade were taking up valuable real estate.
Mediocre food and seating is a problem. Maybe this place is worth it if you love Mexican food and have never been here before. But for me, there are too many better choices in Epcot to ever deal with La Cantina again.

We had the "Red Car Trolley" enhancement to the sundae. They still put the waffle cone under the ice cream, which is delicious. The only thing preventing a "10" is the price, although it's not as bad when you split it between two!
