I do a dining plan every trip!
Pros:
everything is paid for ahead of time, many options, I usually have snack credits left over so I use those for souvenirs.Cons:

Our family loves the photo pass! So many moments and memories captured that we would have missed and finally we get EVERYONE into the photos! I love the extra characters and borders that you can put on the photos. It is worth the price for sure.
Pros:
Getting those magical shots; getting your whole family or group into the photos; the borders, characters etc. that you can add to the photos. The memories preserved that might be missed with your cameras.Cons:

We dined here on our last trip, and it was excellent. I had the empanadas. They were so good! My husband had the fish tacos and loved them. We were able to get a table near the water and it was a nice relaxing meal, and was affordable. It was evening and the only people allowed in the seating area were patrons, which was nice, because we probably wouldn\\'t have found seating otherwise.

Favorite counter service. We loved the food! We got the French dip a nice change from burgers And refillable drinks! Don’t forget to get the masters cupcake and yes! It’s worth the hype. It is on the small side compared to other Disney cupcakes but after a big lunch it ends up being perfect! Beautiful theming makes you feel like you’re in Beasts castle.

We visited Oct 2017, and had a blast! There are so many things to try including alcoholic beverages I would no normally drink because you could get a beer flight for just $9! it was nice to be able to get a variety and share

I liked having a dining plan since there were 9 of us on the trip, definitely try to schedule as many buffet or family style to get monies worth. Since food is really expensive at WDW, prepaying for food is the way to go. Only downfall is tips not included and can be costly if you do sit downs. if you want to avoid this go with the quick service plan, it is just as good.

prepaid and 2 snacks each! also can convert meals into snacks, sometimes get seated before reservationCons:

Last trip to WDW we wanted to switch it up and try the dinner buffet. It was not bad, but I definitely prefer breakfast.
