Fell in love with this resort years ago before construction so I can only review it before that time. Very large picturesque resort. Was very quiet peaceful Carribean Islands situated around a lake. The location is by far one of the best for it is central and closest to Hollywood Studios and Epcot by a 5 minute bus ride. The comfort of these rooms were really high quality and I can only imagine the refurb will make it modern and fresher as it was slightly dated before. Being able to partially view the Epcot fireworks from the beach near the food court was a bonus and I am hoping this will still be the same as the new Riviera Resort is being built so this overlooks the fireworks. Hopefully this resort will stay a quiet peaceful resort but I can imagine it being busier with the new building. Gondola system is being installed at this resort so it will be great alternative transport.

If you love the Jungle Cruise ride then you’ll enjoy this restaurant. The jokes at Skipper Canteen are similar to that of the Jungle Cruise. I’ve always been able to get in here and feel it’s one of those great overlooked locations. The food is great and service has been outstanding at the many times I’ve visited.

My favorite place in the world!!! The only place I will camp! I’ve only camped here in tents so your experience will be different if you use a camper or stay in the cabins. The bathrooms are heated or air conditioned based on the weather. Hardly any issues with bugs or animals. I love that it’s so close to magic kingdom and you can take the boats to the other resorts. Super peaceful and quiet during the day. Also you can see the fireworks from the beach and the electric water pageant which is my favorite!!

Great for meeting more than one princess without waiting in long lines. Nice enviroment and good food.
Pros:
I was alone and didn't have a reservation. So I went for rope drop and rushed to the line. I nicely asked to the cast members if I could have a table and they were kindly enough to let me in!Cons:
The food is no big deal, it's ok. Go if you like the interaction with the princesses going to your table and spending some time with you. I also recommend going early in the morning if you like more quiet and peaceful meals.Review of Theme Park Photo Pass

The best part of photopass is everyone gets into the picture. No more asking other people to take your family picture. On our 8 day trip we had over 200 photos. Yes some weren’t the best, but the magic shots were always a surprise when checking the my Disney experience app.
