The best of the value resorts for sure! My middle child adored the Cars area. We took so many great pics there. The Nemo pool where you can hear music underwater is very cool. I do miss the lack of water slides when we choose a value over a moderate. We took a lot of pictures at all the different themed areas. Our room was great. We stayed in a standard Ariel room Our view was just landscape but it was pretty. The room met our needs and we had no issues with bus transportation at all. We weren't using it at the most popular times/parks though. Check in was great and my middle child enjoyed drawing on an easel while we waited. We checked out the shop and arcade area and it was all great - as expected at Disney. Pricey in shop but everything in Disney is.

Pros:

One of mine is a CARS fanatic so she loved that area! The Nemo pool was great.

Cons:

I can't think of any...well I guess we wish values had a water slide as a pool feature.

Ate here lunch in late July. Did mobile order. My mom who was using an ECV had to park outside and went to find a table while my dd10 & myself waited in line to see Launchpad. I didnt finish the mobile ordering and went inside to locate my mom before I did only to find out she had went & got food. My app stated to finish order but it was done. It was very husy and avlatge # of school kids were there running everywhere. The fixins bar was either empty or food everywhere. The pop machine was also empty for only a few choices. Garbage was full. The food was ok. I got chicken sandwich which was typuxal. My mom got cheese burger she liked it. My daughter git kids burger meal that came in a sand bucket with shovel. We threw it away cuz I wasnt carrying it around. We usually eat at Flame tree but we were at this location.

Pros:

In door seating with air conditioning.

Cons:

Crowded, bathrooms on the other side. No room for ECV

We love this restaurant. The options appeal to everyone and the addition of the all you can drink shakes add value. I love the strawberry chicken salad with Champaign vinaigrette dressing. It’s light and healthy

Pros:

Menu options make everyone in your party happy.

Cons:

It’s very small and cannot accommodate very many people

It’s a great way to get to see the beautiful inside of the castle but without the experience of dinner.

Pros:

The atmosphere is amazing. The food is better than average especially when you consider the desserts. Being able to walk around and see all the rooms is one benefit to going at lunch since it’s less formal

Cons:

The food is better than average but does not have enough options.

It was very creative and pretty but not worth a fast pass or waiting in a line for more than 10 minutes

Pros:

It’s a calm ride and the fluorescent colors are beautiful

Cons:

It’s short and not worth the long lines of 90 minutes or more. I wouldn’t get in line for more than 10 minutes

the buses are very inconsistent. the new timetable screens at the bus stop are helpful but they are very frustrating because they are constantly change times. I was excited about the new app that lets you see the wait times from you room but it was not working the whole time we were there in September.

Pros:

free transportation

Cons:

crowded buses long wait times

We start our trip with lunch at the Columbia Harbour House religiously every year. From great seafood and chicken to the amazing tuna sandwich, it has something for everyone. We LOVE it here and it makes the tradition of landing in FL and eating a great lunch complete.

Pros:

Fast quick service Lots of options

Cons:

Finding a table at lunchtime can be difficult

the boat service in the epcot/hollywood studio area with us seem to be the most reliable means of transportation. The time between boats is pretty consistant and is like riding an attraction. weather is the only problems we have seen, when the water gets really rough or a lot of lighting they dock the boats until the storm passes.

Pros:

relaxing constant means of transportation

Cons:

will stop when bad storms come up

Review of Disney Fantasy Overall Experience

Get ready for a not-so-scary good time on the 7-night Fantasy's Halloween on the High Seas cruise. My husband, daughter and I sailed the Sept. 15, 2018 Caribbean route from Port Canaveral with stops in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Castaway Cay. The Halloween celebration starts the minute cruisers step into the atrium on deck 3 and see the beautifully creepy Halloween tree adorned with uniquely carved jack-o-lanterns and the Mickey-shaped pumpkin decorations strategically placed on the railings. The tree comes to life during a special spooky storytelling and tree lighting ceremony on Sunday evening. On Wednesday, guests celebrate the traditional Pirate Night complete with fireworks on deck 11 and a late-night buffet in Cabanas. On Thursday, it's time to celebrate Halloween, with all guests, adults and children, encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes and join in trick or treating around the ship. Lots of candy stations are placed on decks 2, 3, 4 and 5 with costumed crew members ready to hand out candy. A Halloween dance party with Mickey and the gang in costume keeps the celebration rocking in the atrium after trick or treating. All in all, the Halloween on the High Seas cruise is not to missed. Adults and children alike will have fun celebrating Halloween with that special touch of Disney magic.

Pros:

A festive, fun Halloween atmosphere abounds on the ship. The water was calm even though tropical storm Isaac was headed for Jamaica before dissipating before we arrived in Falmouth.

Cons:

The weather in September can be very hot and humid. We experienced temps in the 90s each day with humidity to match. The threat of tropical storms and hurricanes could be a problem in September.
