Review of Pandora -- the World of Avatar

Our family thoroughly enjoyed visiting Pandora. I vaguely remembered the movie Avatar, but that didn't keep me from fully enjoying the land. I would highly recommend getting there long before the gates open. We walked onto the banshee ride, but later in the day we waited 90 minutes. Experiencing the land in the evening as the sun set was special with all the lights. The Na'Vi River journey was just ok in my opinion, but a welcome respite from the heat of the day. The banshee ride was fantastic! We had a meal at the Satu'Li Canteen and enjoyed that very much. My kids enjoyed the drum show and the pandora utility set demonstration.

Pros:

Fully immersive, 'believable' experience. Flights of passage one of the best rides we've ever been on. Tasty food at the canteen.

Cons:

Long lines.

Still one of our must do quick services. We were there again in March (2019) and even tho my husband can be a picky eater this is probably his favorite. He got the meatloaf and I got a pizza/flatbread and then we share--no complaints and such a lovely place to eat in the evening. Even tho the place was packed in March, by eating a bit later it was very peaceful and quiet.

Pros:

love the food and the evening atmosphere

Cons:

probably price if anything but we still love it

Great pizza! Love all the choices especially the "spicy" sauce option. Usually my husband and I share a pizza but he is not as adventurous with his toppings so buying two pizzas was a little more expensive but still one of the less expensive options at Disney Springs. Just watch out for the birds!

Pros:

Choices!

Cons:

Aggressive birds at times

We enjoyed this restaurant a few years ago but were back in March (2019) and it did not disappoint. I ordered the shrimp and grits entree and it was delicious. Husband had the cafe sandwich and he said he would definitely order again. Waiter (can't remember his name sorry to say) was wonderful as well and we didn't have to wait long for our food. And for those of us that in our real lives don't tend to eat at fancier restaurants it is a little expensive but that is what we save all year for--to splurge at Disney!

Pros:

Food was good and waitstaff excellent

Cons:

maybe price--just depends what you are used to

Review of Flo's V8 Cafe - Cars Land

Three of us ate here and had chicken fried chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes. We were all pleased with our meals. There was delicious white cream gravy on the chicken, and they did not skimp on the amount. There was enough for the chicken And the mashed potatoes underneath. I thought the potatoes were good. It’s not that they were unusual or deserve special attention, but I really enjoyed them for a counter service location. They were creamy and seasoned well. The vegetables were just broccoli and cauliflower that were a little cold, but at this point my body was happy to have a vegetable! They did the job, but we’re nothing to write home about. One of us substituted the french fries for the mashed potatoes. They were steak cut fries, thick with potato and crisp on the outside. They were warm and quite tasty.

They have a lot of seating here and we were still able to find a table during the lunchtime crowd when it was also raining outside. We did have to get a table outside and the patio is not completely covered so some of the tables were wet and not options because they weren’t covered .

Pros:

Many tables for seating, mobile ordering, good food, served with silverware and on real plates instead of paper, nice menu variety, very cute restaurant.

Cons:

Tends to get crowded so loud inside, busy so there were long lines

Review of Trail's End Restaurant

I have to be honest, the only reason we made a reservation here was because we were at Disney in March (2019) and the only way we could resort hop was by having a reservation due to the crowds. Having last been at this location in 1998 we were curious how it had changed. Now, to the meal...it was good...not great but we didn't go away hungry. It seems to be the same food they serve at the Hoop de do review next door but buffet style. I enjoyed the fried chicken, the brisket and the cornbread and my husband had no complaints either. When they saw my husband was disabled they seated us near the buffet and it was all very convenient. Not sure my husband and I would feel the need to eat here again unless we have our developmentally disabled adult son with us---he loves a buffet! And yes it is pricey but it is Disney.

Pros:

lots of choices--nothing too exotic for picky eaters

Cons:

probably price

Review of Boma Flavors of Africa Breakfast - Jambo House

First time eating Boma for breakfast (previous trip we had the dinner). Everything we ate was good. I loved the scrambled eggs with meat, cheese and probably a couple of other things I couldn't identify but I had seconds so it must have been good. Pecan rolls-awesome. Even my semi-picky husband had no complaints about the food. This place always seems crowded and the line can get a bit long but otherwise a nice experience--if a bit expensive. Less than Chef Mickey's so if you don't require the characters this might be worth a try. And to top it off the resort is lovely to explore while you are there.

Pros:

Good, hot food and plenty of it

Cons:

Expensive, of course...it's Disney!

We enjoyed our lunch at Be Our Guest. The pork was delicious and a nice change from typical quick service meals. It was great to see inside the castle.
I am very glad that we pre-ordered as the other line was extremely long. It save so much time.

Pros:

Beautiful setting Good food

Cons:

Needing a reservation for a quick service lunch and the struggle to snag one.
