To me this resort is the most fun resort in WDW and I have stayed in many of their resorts over the past 40 years. I love the music from the different decades, the food court is great and it has the most efficient transportation of any of the resorts. The service staff is just great and will go out of their way to help you.
Pros:
Transportation, fun feeling, great food courtCons:
Rooms are small and can be noisy at times especially if you stay near the poolsReview of Pirates of the Caribbean -- WDW

A nice gentle boat ride past entertaining and humorous scenes of pirates plundering a village at night. It is Disney after all, so it's not as bad as it may sound. The attraction's been updated in recent years. Look for the Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) figures who were added here and there following the popularity of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. The attraction was also made more politically correct, so the old "wench auction" scene has been modified. And although it may a bit of a shadow of its former self, it's still a great ride. Odds are you'll be singing "A Pirate's Life for Me" as you exit.
It's a pretty smooth ride except for a small, unexpected drop, in the dark, at the beginning of the ride. There are so many things to look at, you can ride several times and you'll always find something you previously missed.
There are two loading lines for the attraction. However, sometimes only one may be operating depending on the crowd level. But if both sides are open and everyone's heading toward one side, go the the other side. The wait may be shorter.
We catch it every time we visit. And if you've never experienced it, it's a must see...at least once.
Pros:
A classic Disney attraction with a catchy song. Nice gentle boat ride and a good way to get out of the hot Florida sun.Cons:
It's not the ride it used to be due to political correctness changes. Oh well....Review of Spice Road Table

The outdoor covered patio by the lake is a beautiful, peaceful spot to enjoy a mid-afternoon break. We snacked on the hummus fries and mint iced tea. The fries had a crunchy exterior and a warm, tender inside. The creamy, spicy dipping sauce complimented perfectly. The tea was cool and refreshing.
Pros:
Covered, outdoor dining with a beautiful view. Great spot for a quiet afternoon snack.Cons:

This is my favorite Value resort and I have stayed here on 5+ occasions. They have their own bus line with only 1 stop at the resort. This saves so much time! The dining hall has so many good options (including great ice cream)and the check out is very quick. All service is always above and beyond.
Rooms are newly renovated. Sometimes we take the bus back to AoA and walk across the bridge to Pop for a scenic stroll at night.
Pros:
Own bus system with no extra stops. Newly renovated rooms. Great dining selections (check out the ice cream!). Great price.Cons:
If you don't get a preferred room, your walking distance to the main hall can be a bit far.Review of Na'vi River Journey

I have always love it's a small world but when I saw the Holiday version I loved it even more. It is worth waiting in line for and we rode it almost every day when we were at DL. It makes the original version not as special but still love it either way.
Pros:
give you a feel good feelingCons:
no shade for most of the lineReviewed by tpetty Review Date: 04/24/2019

We stayed in room 7524 and really enjoyed it. We picked a forward room because we were concerned with the vibration in an aft room and we are glad we did since we could feel the vibration while eating dinner in Animator's Palate. This room is in the forward on the port side and was very quiet. We were able to see Castaway Key from our veranda. This room only sleeps 3 and has a split bath. Although small it did have a lot more storage thanks to our suit cases fitting under the bed. We brought our own cups to refill and have drinks in our room. At the time they still had travel sized bathroom products they were giving out. We would book this room again.
Pros:
quiet; extra storage due to bed being raisedCons:
didn't have a bunk bed; the CM housekeeper for our room rearranged what we had left out on the deskReview of it's a small world -- WDW

This was a magical experience for our family. My daughter was chosen to be the Beast and got to dance with Belle, her favorite princess. I cried!
Pros:
Everyone can be involved in the acting out of the story. You can get up close and personal with Belle.Cons:

This ride seemed fun to me as a child, but as an adult it freaked me out! It's not 'like Dumbo.' It's like Dumbo, but only 100 feet up in the air, with steeper turns. You should only ride with someone you feel close to, because you will be in tight quarters. It's fun, but not if you have a fear of heights. Best ridden at night!
