My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here in January, 2019.

Great food quality, nice portion sizes, excellent service. The tea was awesome on a cold, rainy Florida night!Cons:

Overall the park was great. It is basically a typical waterpark though. My family is very into water parks and had a blast. For myself - not so much into the whole soak and bake kind of day. We rented a cabana which turned out to be great for a respite from the sun and water, and had it's own locker so we felt comfortable leaving valuables locked up rather than out in the open like so many people in the chairs areas. The supposed service that was to be included, however, was far below par and we were very disappointed on that end. Not sure we'd do it again for the $$$. Also, we purchased ahead and wore "water shoes" (the kind that is allowed which are soft-bottom styles, kind of like thick socks made out of neoprene). However, by the end of the day, these were completely destroyed! There were holes in the bottoms for everyone in the family. We threw them away on the way out they were so bad. But we realized that would have been the bottom of our feet had we not had those on. So, even as "throw aways", they saved our feet from getting torn up from the very rough ground (Everywhere, not just in the pools) and from the hot, hot surfaces. Defintely recommend getting some.
Pros:
It's a water park! With great themes throughout.Cons:
It's a water park...with all the standard faults of such environments. Cabana rental not really worth it.Reviewed by DebQ Review Date: 06/12/2019

We have stayed many times over the years at POR. Love the landscape, amenities and activities. Really like the curtain separating the bathroom area from the bedroom area - so as not to disturb others who are trying to sleep. Love the fact that they have multiple pools - as the main pool is usually crowded. This is a large resort that requires a good deal of walking - so keep that in mind when booking. This is our "go to" moderate resort.
Pros:
room size, amenities, service, variety in the food courtCons:

My daughter and I went to the Festival in October 2018. This was a first time for us and we absolutely loved it. Went on a Wednesday, and it certainly wasn't crowded. Could always find a table to eat our samplings. The variety of food and drink was amazing, and it is nice that the portions that they give your aren't so huge. You could try a lot throughout the day and not get so full. Wish we could have tried more. Coming back this fall. Will be on our "must do" list every time we come to Disney.

This is a must do! This ambience alone is worth going into this restaurant. The different rooms you get to choose from. We really enjoy the room with the picture of the beast and the flower in it,but we would sit in any one of them and still enjoy.

Went to the Halloween Party in October 2018, going again this September. We went on a Tuesday, and found it not to be all that crowded. Lines for rides were almost non-existent. It was so much fun to dress up (2 adult women!!) and trick or treat and participate in the party. A joy to see others in costume and the children having fun and the interaction with all of the characters that were out. Fireworks were awesome. I would fully recommend attending - although I would certainly go during the week and not on a weekend.
Pros:
Fun, lots of characters, easy ride accessCons:

Every time we come go to Hollywood Studios, we always go to the 50's. We go for lunch, and it is a great way to take a break from the park and the warm weather. \"Comfort food\" at its finest. A great way to get away from the burgers, fries and pizza. The service is always excellent and it is great fun to interact with your server. However, if you can't take a little teasing, then don't here as you won't find their antics enjoyable. It's our \"go to\" restaurant at DHS.

I ate here in Jan /19. I follow a diet where I do not eat oil . Had the salad which has an oil based dressing . Spoke with chef who agreed to make a dressing that I make at home for my salad . Chef was wonderful , many times chefs seem a little insulted because you don’t want an item the way they prepare it. Not so here .
Pros:
Willingness to accommodate the guest for diet preferences. Friendliness of all staff. Food was great no complaints .Cons:

We loved everything about this character dining experience. First, it's in one of the most beautiful Disney hotels. Be sure to arrive early enough to enjoy a stroll around the lobby and grounds of Wilderness Lodge. The food at Artist Point is exceptional. I highly recommend the chicken entree. The shared appetizers and desserts are served in individual portions, and the presentation is both imaginative and delightfully in keeping with the Snow White story line. The decor of the dining room is perfect; you feel as if you really are in an enchanted forest. Interaction with the characters was fun and didn't seem rushed. Our server was top notch and very attentive. From start to finish, we loved this character dining experience. It is well worth the expense and we hope to get reservations for it again.
