I absolutely love this ride! Definitely meant for thrill seekers. I love going backwards and seeing the yeti was fun. It also has great theming through out the que. The line was long but I felt like it moved quickly.

A perfect confluence of circumstances led me to be walking past Expedition Everest right when the wait line was at 20 minutes. I had to do it - my first time riding this ride even though AK is my favorite park and I have been in it many times. (Full disclosure - I hate waiting in lines and the only ride I was ever able to get a fastpass for when I tried was Flights of Passage) Anyway. The downside to it being a short wait was that we all speed walked through the queue and that queue is really amazing. I was sorry I didn't have the chance to stop and look at everything, but in ten minutes I was at the loading platform and taking a seat on the ride. After getting off, I felt like an idiot for passing up this ride as long as I did because it's so much fun. It has the rotary craziness of Big Thunder and the lifts of Splash, and the backwards in the dark section is a blast. I have heard others say that the ride is very rough - but I did not feel it was any more so than Thunder or Space. Would have liked it to go on longer.

What’s not to love about Everest? The theming is absolutely incredible. I love being able to hop in the single rider line over and over again! If you do have to wait, the que is one of the most richly themed in all of Disney World. It actually is a real treat to wait and walk through it. The attraction itself is so thrilling, with surprises around every turn. The imagineers nailed it with this one, I’ll never forget my first ride on this one and the yeti actually worked!

My favorite thrill ride in WDW! I love the detail in the queue and the mountain makes for some really great photos, especially from across the water. The ride itself is just so much fun!

Behind Tower of Terror, this is my second favorite ride in Disney. A lot of fun and offers a ton of excitement. It's even better on your first experience, because you don't know what to expect. Starts off slow, but really picks up speed after a while. (Literally)
