I really wanted to love “Cindy’s” after 15 years of regular visits to WDW without being able to get a reservation. My daughter really wanted to go here for her 20th birthday so I did all the ridiculousness to get the reservation
I want to start with the positive, the character interaction in the dining room was fantastic! They were so friendly and didn’t rush even though we were a party of adults
Unfortunately the rest was just mediocre. I ordered the steak & eggs (to justify the $70 price tag) and it wasn’t good. The steak was the worst steak of the entire week and most this trip were not good. The egg & potato frittata needed more of the Boursin cheese. My son had the shrimp & grits - which I actually thought was pretty good- but he didn’t care for them. My daughter had the bananas Foster French toast and said it tasted like fake banana. The service was fine but not special, which is something that seems common now. Our seat was right off the entrance landing - so no view of Fantasy land for adult diners. Overall I was disappointed. I feel I had realistic expectations because I’ve read the reviews and know that sometimes even the best restaurants have an off day. This was really the most disappointing meal of the trip. I won’t go back until I have granddaughters.

This was definitely a do once and be done kind of experience. It was very cool meeting Cinderella and the other princesses, it was incredible to be inside the castle and have the view of the park, BUT the food is not what you go for and the price is only justified by the experience. I did this this once at 18 and i have no desire to repeat this experience. I imagine kids would love the experience even more than me and they dont have such a developed pallet that they would probs love the food too. Sorry for roasting all children. Im choosing to recommend this as a one time experience for the right group of people.
Pros:
wonderful views great atmosphere a way to get inside the castleCons:

A fun lunch. We went here on a last-minute reservation (The day before). I thought it would be fun to take my son for his 22nd birthday. He loves interacting and talking to the characters. (I keep checking the app for an opening so don't give up).
Appetizers: Braised Beef and Shrimp Cocktail. My son liked the braised beef and the shrimp cocktail was average.
Main: Grilled Tenderloin and Gnocchi. Son liked the Tenderloin but I did not like the Gnocchi; it was way too salty.
Desert was the best part; The Clock Strikes Twelve and the Jaq & Gus. We both loved these.
Our Waiter was very attentive and all the princesses were perfect. We saw Ariel, Jasmin, Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella.
We both got a Wand and a sword :).
I'd like to try it at breakfast next time!

This was my family’s 1st time back since 2008. We tried breakfast this time and were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast options were good, we got our food quickly, our server was great. You visit this restaurant for the theming let’s be real, but breakfast was far better than expected. This is a place you should try and do at least once, after that it’s not a must visit each Disney world trip for us.
Pros:
Theming, fast service, solid breakfast options for many different tastesCons:

We went with a large group to Cinderella’s Royal Table and even as we were split up, the experience here was highly enjoyed by all. The theming and setting are great, and part of our group sat near a window at the front of the castle, so you can’t beat that view! I had the Beef Tenderloin and Eggs, and as someone who doesn’t typically love eggs, I thought the frittata with potato and cheese was delicious. The beef was well cooked and seasoned as well. Dishes the rest of our group got were enjoyed consistently too.
We went at a time where, because of COVID, Cinderella was only able to appear from afar (princesses, amiright?), but it was still a nice time. I can only imagine this gets more magical as more princesses return and are able to visit tables.
Would definitely recommend this at least once. I don’t know that we feel desperate to go back, but the meal was good, the theming was great, and you can’t beat eating IN the castle!
Bonus: They give you a sword or a star wand at the end as you leave as kind of a parting gift, and I thought these were a really nice touch. My nephews still play with their swords to this day!
Pros:
Eating IN the castle is *chef’s kiss* Food is good and varied Will only get better as princesses return post-COVIDCons:
Probably not multiple-trip worthy Table envy (if you get a table near the window, you have a decidedly better view)Reviewed by FoolishMortalJJ Review Date: 03/13/2022

Dined here for my Birthday to experience eating in the castle. We had a window table with views of fantasyland. The pastries plate was a good start to the meal. We ordered the stuffed French toast and the traditional breakfast (eggs, potatoes, bacon). The stuffed French toast was good with raspberries on top. The traditional breakfast was just meh, potatoes were way too salty, bacon was good. They have you meet Cinderella before the meal now. The issue we had was she was not there and told us to meet her after the meal. When we came down from our meal she was not there again and told us to come back in 30 minutes. So not the best experience with that.
Our server was really great!

I really do not understand the people who say the food isn't good. We went for breakfast back in 2019. I had the shrimp and grits and my spouse (if I remember correctly) had a french toast dish. Both were delicious! The pastries were nothing to write home about but were good. The mimosas were fantastic and meeting the princesses as they came around to the table was fun! They didn't just skip over us because we were two adults either, they actually chatted with us for a bit.
Pros:
Characters, food was great, Great serviceCons:

Below average banquet style food, but in normal times, it's a great place to check off a bunch of princesses at one meal. I personally don't like awkward face character interactions, but it's worth visiting once for your kids. If you can get a window seat, you can have some park views, but we were seated alongside the back wall and it felt a little claustrophobic. Current times with just a wave from Cinderella is underwhelming. Keep your expectations low.
Pros:
princesses (in normal times) setting foot in the castleCons:

The cast member was so nice, it was my family's first trip ever to Disney World. He let us wait at the table while the fire work show was going off, which was pretty incredible. The food was pretty good, I had chicken and its hard to hate chicken. The character meet and greets were nice, and they worked really hard to make sure it was a fun experience
