Actor Revealed for the 'Tangled' Live Action Movie — And It's a NEW Character!

It is no surprise that over here, we CANNOT wait to see the Tangled live-action movie. The animated movie is so beloved, and seeing a new adaptation is going to be so exciting.

And we just found out another actor has been confirmed to join the project. So let’s dive into everything we know and head over to the kingdom of Corona!

Currently, we know three actors who are signed on to be in this project. Actress Teagan Croft is playing Rapunzel, Disney Channel Star Milo Mannheim will be playing Flynn Ryder, and finally Kathryn Hahn is set to play Mother Gother, which might be the best casting move of all time!

We are loving the casting so far, and it was just announced that Diego Luna is joining the project! He is already familiar with Disney through his role of Cassian Andor in the Disney+ Star Wars series Andor.

While he is confirmed to be in the project, we don’t yet know what role he will be playing. In fact, it has been reported that he will be playing a role specifically created for this new adaptation.

So this tells us that we should not be expecting a shot-for-shot remake of the original and that the live action is going to be taking some creative liberties. Making this adaptation, at least somewhat, unique.
