Epic Universe has been open for nearly a full year now, and we’ve been lucky enough to get the chance to visit this park time and time again.

By now, we’ve discovered our favorite rides, and if you’ve been to Epic Universe, chances are you have too. But, even the most popular rides have to undergo maintenance every now and again, and that’s exactly what’s happening to Yoshi’s Adventure later this April.
A while back, we reported that Yoshi’s Adventure would be closing for maintenance later this month, but now that April has come around, we wanted to remind you! Yoshi’s Adventure will be temporarily closed from April 21st to April 23rd, likely for routine maintenance.

If you have a Yoshi or Super Mario lover in your group and are in the process of planning a visit to Epic Universe, consider booking your trip after the closure, to ensure you’ll have the best chance of riding this one! It’s considered one of the most kid-friendly rides in the park, so keep that in mind, too.

If you do happen to be at Epic Universe while Yoshi’s Adventure is down, you can visit Yoshi’s Snack Island and pick up some delicious, fun, and themed snacks. Plus, you can always check out Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge when you’re in this land, along with using your Power Band to complete all the games and challenges around!

Some additional Universal ride closures are happening over in Islands of Adventure. Jurassic Park River Adventure has been closed since January 5th and will remain closed until November 19th. Pteranodon Flyers closed on February 27th and will reopen on May 14th. Keep this in mind if you’re planning a Universal Orlando trip soon!

While we recommend avoiding Epic Universe April 21st through April 23rd for our die-hard Super Mario fans, this brief closure shouldn’t affect your Epic Universe plans too heavily. Plus, there are always so many other fun and exciting experiences, food, rides, and shows to experience at Epic!

We’ll be on the lookout for more ride closures you need to know about from Epic Universe and beyond. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Universal news and more!

Have you been to Epic Universe at Universal Orlando yet? Let us know in the comments.

I was at Epic un January2036. With my husband, son his wife and 4 children.
We have done all of the Orlando parks numerous times- Disney and Universal.
I was so very disappointed in Epic!! So few rides. That is why the line ups are so very long. I will take my family back to Universal and Disney parks but I will not go back to Epic!!
One bathroom facility in all of Mario land. No bathrooms in restaurants. Stairs everywhere. Unable (or useless) to bring a wagon for little ones. I have never been so disappointed.
