REVIEW: One of the Best New Desserts Is Hiding in a Disney World Hotel

When we visited Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort for our favorite Mickey Waffles this week, we saw that they had a new dessert! So obviously, we got cheesecake for breakfast.

The Artist’s Palette

Saratoga Springs’ quick-service restaurant The Artist’s Palette has had some game-changing desserts lately. We love their Lemon Meringue Croissant and Milk & Cookies Cupcake, so we were really excited to try this!

The Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake is $6.29 at The Artist’s Palette.  It’s a no-bake cheesecake filled with strawberry sauce that’s topped with strawberry icing, a sliced strawberry, and a Mickey-shaped sugar cookie.

We loved the cheesecake filling – it tasted sweet and creamy, and the texture was very soft and held its shape as we ate it in the heat outside.

This was stuffed with strawberry sauce! It has a tartness that really complements the cheesecake. It tasted a bit artificial, though. We would’ve loved this if it were made with real strawberries.

We also thought that the crust could have been better. It’s your standard pie crust, and something crispier, like a graham cracker crust, would’ve made an amazing texture with the soft cheesecake and jelly sauce.

The Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake is available at The Artist’s Palette at Saratoga Springs resort. Have you eaten there recently? If so, leave a review right here!
