Is Disney’s Jollywood Nights Worth the Cost in 2025?

Deck the halls with all things jolly…or in our case, Jollywood Nights. Now, Jollywood Nights has returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this year on select nights from November 8th through December 22nd, and you may be wondering if it’s something you would like to get tickets for.

Well, we’re going to break down everything that ticket gets you so you can decide if Jollywood Nights is worth it this year.

Jollywood Nights is a separately-ticketed event happening for the third year in a row in Hollywood Studios. Tickets range from $159 to $199 per person. The event features exclusive holiday entertainment, low wait times for your favorite rides, character meet and greets, special snacks, and more. So is it worth the price of a ticket?

The party takes place from 7:30 PM until 12:30 AM. However, if you have a ticket to the party, you can enter Hollywood Studios as early as 5:30 PM, which is 30 minutes earlier than last year. This gives you a total of seven hours in the parks.

You also get access to exclusive entertainment during the party, including Glisten — A Skating Spectacular, Disney Holidays in Hollywood (with Kermit and Miss Piggy), What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along, and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks spectacular.

Other exclusive entertainment includes the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club, Pixar Disco in Pixar Plaza, and the Holiday Fiesta en la Calle near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.

Pixar Disco

Overall, we felt that the entertainment was pretty on par with where it was last year, which isn’t a bad thing! The band over at Holiday Fiesta en la Calle was especially impressive, which we adored, and though there was a minor issue with Disney Holidays in Hollywood that caused our show to be delayed, it was back up and running pretty quickly.

Now, we do still feel there are hits and misses for the party, and some of the entertainment is included in that, because while we love Glisten!, it is an ice skating show, that’s a tricky sport, and people do fall, which puts a bit of a damper on the show. Overall, though, the entertainment gets an A from us!

You also get a lot of opportunities to meet rare characters that you would not see in the parks on a regular park day. Truly, these felt VERY worth the cost of the party ticket if you’re a big fan of meeting characters. One of our favorites was meeting Partysaurus Rex in Toy Story Land!

It’s Partysaurus Rex!

And we can’t forget Bing Bong!

Chewbacca was also celebrating Life Day over in Galaxy’s Edge, which was epic.

You can also purchase a variety of exclusive food and drinks at the event, and this is also where we saw major improvement. We feel the food was really elevated from last year, and ESPECIALLY from the first year back in 2023. We had some really great options this year, with one of our favorites being the Holiday Dill-light at Tune-In Lounge — if you love pickles, this is 100% for you!

The Sweet Chili Cheer Chicken Slider at Backlot Express was also a big win for us. This had sweet and spicy vibes we loved, and the slaw gave it a fantastic crunch!

Bread Pudding fans have GOT to grab the Holly Jolly Bread Pudding from Backlot Express as well! It’s been a big hit with kids, and while we would have loved to see it be a little more gooey, we otherwise loved it.

We also really want to point out the incredible Arepas de Choclo at KRNR Rock Station over near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. The sauce here was very garlic-forward, which we loved, and it was genuinely so great that we could have drunk it with a straw. The arepa itself was wonderfully moist in the best way, with a great amount of cheese inside, and for that price? PLEASE grab it!

You can also make reservations for Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby, a sit-down restaurant experience with a special menu and live music. We’ve experienced this in the past and really enjoyed it, although we do warn you that spending a large chunk of your party time at a sit-down restaurant will take you away from other aspects of the night.

Want to own some cool souvenirs? You’ll be able to shop an exclusive collection of Jollywood Nights souvenirs, including merchandise with Ollie the gingerbread man, the party’s official mascot. This was about on par with what we’ve seen in years past, BUT the free ornament you get at the end of the night was really great quality, and that impressed us!

If you’re looking to ride some attractions, you’ll find some of the lowest wait times during the event, especially since most people are spending the evening seeing the special shows, meet and greets, and more. Though if you’re a big rides person and hate lines, this might be a huge perk of the event for you.

You’ll be able to make some memories with some special photo ops, too. Even better? All PhotoPass downloads are included with your party ticket for the evening, so you’ll want to get them all. This is also a MAJOR perk that you won’t get at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, as for those photos, you’ll need to purchase Memory Maker separately. For people who love photos, this alone could be worth the price of the ticket, since you won’t need to worry about taking them with your phone instead!

Great PhotoPass photos!

There’s definitely a lot to do during Jollywood Nights, but is it worth up to $199 per person? Our opinion here is that this event continues to improve year after year, and we saw LOTS of people having a lot of fun — solo travelers, couples, large groups, you name it. We heard positive feedback from pretty much everyone we walked past, and we even noticed that we had a more fun time at this party than we have in years past.

Now, while this party is family-friendly for all, we did find that it was more geared towards adults than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is, so take that as you will! We think a lot of people who know what to expect going in (AKA, they know they’ll enjoy the food offerings, the rides with lower wait times, and the entertainment), they’ll feel like it’s very worth their money.
