We are SO jealous of Hong Kong Disneyland right now because they get to eat a the first-ever Moana-themed restaurant!

On September 12th, Hong Kong Disneyland opened a Moana-themed restaurant, Wayfinder’s Table. This has us looking at flights to Hong Kong and has our bellies rumbling at the same time! Let’s talk about what we are most excited to try here.
From concept art to menu reveals, Disney has leaned fully into the oceanic, island-voyaging spirit of Moana, blending immersive design with bold, island-inspired flavors. The interior is modeled after a “bai” from Belau (a traditional structure in Micronesia), with murals and art that highlight wayfinding, stars, ocean swells, and birds. Let’s talk about what dishes we are most excited for!

Voyagers’ Chicken Naan Pizza is one of the more imaginative fusions on the menu: naan as the base, topped with spinach, mango chutney, mozzarella, wok-fried vegetables, and potato pops, and paired with cucumber yogurt. As a playful hybrid between pizza and flatbread, this is a dish that gives nods to both Polynesian flavor and global flair. Between the tangy mango chutney and the creamy yogurt, it feels like a perfect first bite to test the balance of bold and comforting flavors in the kitchen.

Then there’s the Seafood Laksa Soup Noodle, a dish that seems destined to be a showstopper. Think shrimp, scallops, squid, rice noodles, crispy noodles, all swimming in a fragrant, spicy laksa broth, and a Mickey egg floating on top. It’s the kind of visual dish that invites Instagram shots, but also promises depth in every spoonful: creamy coconut plus spice, seafood succulence, and textural contrast.

The Beef Steak Mee Goreng is rooted more firmly in Southeast Asian tradition: thick, savory, slightly spicy noodles tossed with beef, cabbage, bean sprouts, lime, sambal, and aromatic touches of lemongrass and hoisin. It’s the kind of comfort-food staple you’d expect in a bold, island-forward menu. We’re hoping it strikes the right balance. This dish is rich and hearty without being heavy, with that hint of lime juice to brighten things up.

Finally, Island Delights (a non-alcoholic signature drink) is one of the sips we’re most eager to sample. Alongside another beverage choice, “Preserved Plum Pineapple Soda,” it’s part of the menu’s effort to pair tropical flavor profiles with refreshing options.

The space invites guests into a mini-land of sorts: you’ll find Kakamora statues, tropical motifs, silhouettes of Pua and Hei Hei, and art that weaves Moana’s legend into the walls. Because Wayfinders’ Table sits near the “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration” show, this will deepen the immersion for fans

In short, we can’t wait to see how these flavors land in reality. For more Disney Parks news, follow AllEars.net.
