I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I just went to Disneyland Paris!

This resort is in the middle of a major expansion, but that didn’t stop me and the girls (Quincy and Fry Bucket) from enjoying every second we could! I wasn’t sure what to expect in this park before stopping by, and one thing I would normally skip made my day 10 times better than I ever thought it could.
Disneyland Paris is known for many things! Arguably the most beautiful Disney castle, the scary dragon hiding underneath it, and champagne on Main Street are just a few things that come to mind.

While I knew I would want to drink those lovely bubbles and check out the rides in the park, I didn’t know if I would see the park’s current parade, Disney Stars on Parade!

This parade takes place once a day at 5:30 PM, and you can see characters like Mickey, Minnie, Elsa, Anna, Peter Pan, and more! While I love Disney entertainment, when I go to a new park, I find myself focused on snacks and rides more than anything. The parade falls into my “maybe” category during any Disney day, mainly because I don’t love standing in the sun where I can get sunburnt and dehydrated. (Shoutout to Disney World’s nighttime parade that negates this issue!)

While we were in Disneyland Paris Park, we decided to watch the parade on our perfect day, and I can’t even begin to describe how much better it made our day! The parade began with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale on a Storybook-inspired float that took our breath away.

Goofy even lifted off with his jet pack! Next came the Toy Story-inspired float that featured Jessie, Woody, and Buzz. The thing that blew us away? The literal acrobats pushed a moving element that pushed a pinwheel on the float. We were actually speechless when we saw it!

The Lion King-inspired float followed them up, where we got to wave hello to Rafiki and Simba, along with characters from The Jungle Book like Baloo!

If we thought things couldn’t get more impressive, they did, thanks to the moving elements on the Peter Pan float! The boat was literally swinging back and forth thanks to the performers on board (and we know that can’t be easy on this 20-minute route).

The parade continued with amazing, larger-than-life floats like the Finding Nemo moment and Maleficent, who breathed fire (just like she does in Disney World).

The princesses made an appearance on a float fit for Disney fairies, and Queens Anna and Elsa brought up the end on their own float. The main song that played throughout the parade was called Lost in the Magic and even Quincy agreed it might be our favorite original Disney theme park song we’ve heard in a long time. It was fun, poppy, and made us ready to dance!

Not only was the parade so fun, but we even got to sip on that delicious champagne made just for Disneyland Paris while we watched the show. This was a major “big memory” moment for me, and I almost missed it! I know how amazing Disney parades can be, and this certainly isn’t a “hidden gem” for many, but this parade was an amazing reminder to not hold yourself back from something that might not always be on your top priority list.

There was so much to see and do in this park, and this was only scratching the surface! As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney tips, tricks, and secrets!
