These $30 Shoes From Walmart Rival Our Favorite $100 Hokas

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: one of the most important decisions you can make ahead of your Disney World trip is which shoes you’re going to pack!

There is hardly anything worse than getting back to your hotel room at the end of the day, only to be met with aching feet and the thought that you might not be able to do it all over again the next day! We’ve tested a TON of different shoes around Disney World, and we were SHOCKED that these $30 shoes rival our favorite $100 HOKAs!

Here they are — the Avia Women’s Athletic Jumbo Lite Runner Shoes! These shoes are built for women and teen girls, and are sure to offer you maximum comfort. Let’s get this out of the way early on, they are 100% worth the money! We like how the shoe comes in two different colorways — blue and red. We went for the blue.

Did we find budget sneakers that won’t hurt your feet?

Now, these may look like basic running shoes, but we found they have a nice slim fit to them and a cushioned heel for running support. The biggest pro for the shoe is the comfort and how it will conform to your feet after you’ve worn them for a while.

We will say, it’s not a pair of shoes we would recommend taking straight from purchase on vacation. They need to be worn in a bit to really feel good when walking around. But that is a tip we tell you about any pair of shoes you tend to wear before heading to the parks — they need to be broken in so you don’t end up with pain or a blister.

But once these shoes are broken in, they really are a dream. So cozy and comfortable. If we were to give the shoes any con, it might be that the toe is really narrow, so if you don’t like that, these might not feel like the best fit for you. Other than that, we think you NEED these for your next Disney trip. They were cheap, comfortable, totally worth it, and more than exceeded our expectations.

They’re very similar comfort-wise to the HOKA Clifton 10s that we adore; these are just MUCH cheaper. We’re always looking at durability, brand reliance, accuracy of reviews, and what the brand says it’s capable of — this totally exceeded our expectations for such a cheap pair of shoes!
