FIRST LOOK: NEW Disney Villains Just Debuted at Oogie Boogie Bash!

It’s time to oogie, boogie, and bash!

Disneyland‘s after-hours Halloween Party, Oogie Boogie Bash, is back in action, and we are too excited! This special ticketed event offers low crowds, exclusive snacks, and so many rare characters. Each year, this event brings something new, and this year, we finally got to meet the most evil super villain of them all!

If you’ve never been to Oogie Boogie Bash, let us tell you a little bit about it! The Oogie Boogie Bash takes place at Disney California Adventure and runs from 6 PM until 11 PM each night of the event. Ticket holders can enter the park as early as 3 PM, and no park reservation is required.

Oogie Boogie Bash

This year, the event is running from August 17th to October 31st and will feature immersive treat trails, the Frightfully Fun Parade, Mickey’s Trick and Treat Show, and the Villains Grove. In addition to these activities, there are so many characters that it makes our heads spin! Each year, the best Disney baddies are joined by a few new, special faces.

Agatha Harkness!

In 2025, a brand-new Pixar villain is stopping by the party, and we are ridiculously excited! Syndrome from The Incredibles is stopping by this year’s festivities, so you know we had to go say hello!

The line for Syndrome was WILDLY long, and we were so glad we got in his line the moment we stepped into the park. It went all the way back to Goofy’s Sky School, and that was at the beginning of the event!

Another character who finally made their return to the party is Maleficent! The mistress of evil is finally back, and we had to stop by to say, “Are you okay? You look a little green.”

Her line was around 45 minutes long, which was certainly not short, but it was worth the wait. We loved our interaction with her, and are so glad she’s back this year!

Syndrome, along with Maleficent, Mickey, Minnie, and more, will be at the party each night to help you oogie boogie down.
