Lilo and Stitch was released in May 2025 and became such a big hit that Disney has already announced a sequel! As we wait to see Stitch in action again, we finally know when we can watch this new movie at home over and over again on Disney+!

It’s almost time to bring Disney’s newest live-action movie home to you! Disney’s Lilo and Stitch has been hugely successful for Disney despite having its fair share of controversy.

If you’re someone who loved the new film or didn’t quite make it to the theaters, you’re in luck! Disney’s live-action Lilo and Stitch arrives on Disney+ beginning on September 3rd, 2025.

The movie mirrors the storyline of Lilo searching for a friend when she adopts her new “dog” Stitch, who, as it turns out, is actually an alien built for destruction on the run from the Galactic Federation. The original movie stole fans’ hearts, and many people considered the remake one of Disney’s best.

The film surpassed $1 billion at the box office, making it the first Motion Picture Association (MPA) title to reach the milestone in 2025! It also had a record-breaking debut of $183 million during Memorial Day weekend. It also has become the year’s top-grossing MPA release both worldwide and internationally, so yeah, you can say it’s done well!

Lilo & Stitch is directed by Oscar-nominated Dean Fleischer Camp! The movie stars Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, with Courtney B.
