We’re having TONS of fun at the Disneyland Resort during its 70th Anniversary Celebration — but that doesn’t mean we haven’t noticed any legitimate problems…

Disneyland has been celebrating its 70th anniversary in style with tons of special snack offerings, the return of some fan-favorite shows, event-themed ride inclusions, and so much more! Unfortunately, despite all these great things happening at the Resort, there are some issues that have come up due to the 70th Anniversary Celebration.
Is there really too much of a good thing? Apparently, that’s the case with Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary snacks!

With OVER 70 snacks to honor the 70th, you would need MULTIPLE vacations to realistically try them all. There simply isn’t enough time (nor money) to eat everything that’s offered with this limited-time event, which leaves an obvious conundrum.
So, what should you try? That’s really up to you. But we can say there are some standouts. You can check out our reviews for tips and see what we thought about these anniversary treats!

Another problem is the potential increase in crowds at the parks.
Disneyland is already popular enough, but the celebration has drawn even more interest from tourists.

Over the next year, fans will flock from far and wide to join in festivities. It’s even possible that usual Disney World enthusiasts opt to visit the Anaheim Resort instead of Disney World during the celebration.
Peak foot traffic could occur on July 17th, 2025, when Disneyland celebrates its official birthday by opening Walt Disney — A Magical Life, featuring the first-ever Walt Disney audio-animatronic.

With summer practically here and the celebrations in full swing, here is the basic fact: Disneyland will be busy. There’s no getting around that.
Still, some days will be better than others, so check reservation calendars, aim to go to the parks midweek, follow us for Disneyland updates, and plan to visit around lower foot traffic seasons like when school picks back up or after the holidays — if you want to avoid the biggest crowds.

Nothing at the Disneyland Resort is ever truly set in stone — meaning issues can be fluid and fixed (or sadly become worse). We’ll continue to keep you posted on all the latest from Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration so that YOU have the best advice possible for your next Disneyland trip!
