5 Disney Springs Stores I’ll Never Shop at Again

There is no shortage of shopping at Disney World.

Did you really vacation at Disney World if you don’t come home with at least one of the iconic blue castle shopping bags? Disney Springs, Disney World’s shopping and dining district, is home to 95 shops and 70 restaurants. While we love a good shopping spree, there are five stores we always skip when shopping at Disney Springs.

Disney Springs has tons of Disney merchandise shops, but some of them are a skip for us. 

Disney’s Candy Cauldron

Candy Cauldron is located on the West Side of Disney Springs. Here, you can find the iconic Disney caramel apples and tons of other sweet treats. This shop is small and frequently is very crowded. If you have ever been to Disney Springs, you know that the West Side walkway can be packed, especially at nighttime. 

Save yourself the hassle, and instead, visit Goofy’s Candy Company (near Rainforest Cafe in the Marketplace.) This candy location is much bigger and sells even more sweets.

Star Wars Galatic Outpost

The Star Wars Galatic Outpost is near the Candy Cauldron and has the same problems. The West Side walkway is not the place to be at night. Instead, if you are looking for Star Wars merchandise, consider checking out World of Disney.

Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories

When we visit, the Wonderful World of Memories shop always seems to be something different. Is it an Annual Passholder magnet distribution location? Is it a temporary location for Basin? Is it a place to get your ears embroidered? It is just a lot of things, and it is a little outdated. This location used to be home to unique Disney merchandise, but now we feel like you can find what they sell at a majority of Disney gift shops across the resort.

DisneyStyle

DisneyStyle, located near the AMC, used to sell tons of unique merchandise. It was a must-stop shop for us until it started selling the same merchandise that can be found at other Disney gift shops. Don’t get us wrong—the Teacup and the old sky bucket are super cool—but this shop is just kind of eh for us now.

This store occasionally offers unique merchandise, but we have also found the same things at the World of Disney or the Marketplace Co-Op.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Disney World is home to three Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques where princesses and princes can get a royal makeover. While there are multiple locations, only the one in Magic Kingdom ended up re-opening after the parks closed due to the pandemic.

Both the locations at Disney Springs and the Grand Floridian are still closed, so we literally won’t be able to shop there again for the foreseeable future. If your kiddos are looking to experience the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you will have to check out the Magic Kingdom location.
