The RARE Character That Totally Caught Us Off Guard in Magic Kingdom

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has officially kicked off at Magic Kingdom and we’re here to bring you a look at all this special event has to offer.

There are plenty of snacks for us to try, souvenirs for us to shop, entertainment to check out, and of course — plenty of exclusive characters to meet!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select nights from November 8th to December 20th in Magic Kingdom and is a whole lot of festive fun. We’re checking things out on the first night so you know what to plan for on your visit — starting with character meet and greets!

You’ll find tons of Disney characters stationed throughout Magic Kingdom — and some of the lines to meet them can get pretty long! You might want to pack your patience, especially for some of the more popular characters like Jack and Sally. Let’s see who’s around for us to meet tonight!

Snowball, The Polar Bear

Over in Storybook Circus, you’ll find Santa’s Christmas Carnival. This area is transformed into a land filled with joyful Christmas cheer and Santa’s friends from the North Pole. We met Snowball, a friendly polar bear who is friends with Santa. Quincy was not expecting to meet Snowball, but she’s so glad she did! And just take a look at that incredible hairdo!

Elsa and Anna

Something frozen is back at Magic Kingdom! Anna and Elsa are available to meet during the party. Emma only had to wait 25 minutes to meet them which is great! We loved their special holiday outfits too. You’ll find them in Princess Fairytale Hall.

Aurora and Prince Phillip

In Fantasyland, there was a fairly short wait to meet one of the OG royal couples — Prince Phillip and Aurora! Sleeping Beauty looks dashing in her winter wear.

Santa

It’s the man of the season! Santa Claus is meeting partygoers over at Storybook Circus as it has been transformed into a festive land for the event.

Club Tinsel

On the outdoor stage in Tomorrowland, you can party at Club Tinsel! We had a great time dancing with characters like Chip and Dale!

Disney Junior Jingle Jam

Head to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe if your kiddos are dying to meet their favorite Disney Junior characters!
