The holiday season has hit Disney World and while we love that means we can now see holiday decorations all over the parks, it also means holiday special events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are back as well! We’re here at the very first event of the year to cover everything you need to know to walk into the party like a pro. One of the biggest draws of the party is all the different entertainment, so let’s break it all down!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on select nights from November 8th through December 20th. Each party is from 7PM to 12AM, but guests can enter Magic Kingdom with their party ticket as early as 4PM.

During the event, you can see special entertainment that isn’t available to day guests! This event is especially known for its incredible entertainment options, so you won’t want to miss these!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade is one of the biggest draws of this event, and it’ll take place at 8:30PM and 11PM each night. It features “dancing gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers and beloved Disney Characters as they float by, waving hello. There’s even a special appearance by Santa Claus—riding in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.”

Each of the Disney characters in the parade was sporting their holiday best, including Mickey and Minnie themselves!

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show

The fireworks during this event are called Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show and only have one showing at 10PM each night. During the show you’ll see a fantastic fireworks display set to the tune of some of your favorite holiday carols like “Deck The Halls” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

You’ll also be able to enjoy a stage show, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, at 7:40 PM, 9:25 PM, 10:35 PM, and 11:55 PM each night. This joyful show stars Mickey Mouse himself and “fills the air with music, laughter, shimmering snowflakes—and a whole lot of Disney Characters, too!”

Other Shows and Dance Parties

There are also several different dance parties and additional shows you can find throughout the event that young ones are sure to enjoy. You can find:

  • Frozen Holiday Surprise on the Castle Stage at 8:15PM each night (and sometimes at 6:15PM for regular park guests)

And of course, we can’t forget about all the exciting Disney characters you can meet throughout the night! You’ll find them scattered all over the park, but if you want to visit friends from the North Pole and Santa Claus himself, you’ll want to visit Santa’s Christmas Carnival at Storybook Circus!
