One of Disney’s sweetest spots is closing for a while!
We don’t think it’s a stretch to say that one of the best parts of a Disney World trip are the treats! Everything from ice cream and pastries to candies of every stripe (both metaphorically and literally) is available across the resort. However, we recently got word that one of our favorite sweet spot destinations at Disney Springs is going down for a bit.
The Candy Cauldron, located on Disney Springs’ West Side, has announced a temporary closure with no official end date.
The official Disney Springs Instagram account released a story about the closure which included a photo, along with the caption “Magic mirror on the wall, something is brewing this fall. Disney’s Candy Cauldron is temporarily closed for refurbishment and will be reopening in the coming months, with some spooktacular new treats.”
The closure has also been confirmed on both the Walt Disney World and Disney Springs websites.
There is no reopening date scheduled for Candy Cauldron outside of the “coming months”, and hours are unavailable as far out as Disney’s calendar currently lists, though that of course could change.
Disney’s Candy Cauldron, which is located on the West Side of the Disney Springs complex, is an “enchanted candy factory for a cornucopia of mouthwatering morsels—from cake pops, cookies and cupcakes to candies of every color, shape and size. The shop also stocks flavored popcorn and intricately decorated Disney candy apples.”
Fear not if you’re looking to satiate your sweet tooth at Disney Springs while the Candy Cauldron is closed however. There are several other treat locations in the shopping complex including the M&Ms store located on the West Side, the Ganachery in the Landing area, and Goofy’s Candy Company located in the Marketplace.
Disney’s Candy Cauldron, one of the most popular candy and treat locations at Disney Springs, is closing for an indeterminate amount of time, so plan your trips accordingly. Stay tuned to AllEars for further updates on when the shop will reopen.
