Celebrity Sighting NEWS! Guess Who Just Visited a Disney Park and Had a Blast Meeting Characters?!

Two film stars recently descended on Disneyland Paris. 

Seeing celebrities at Disney Parks is nothing new, as the rich, famous, and influential have been visiting the company’s theme parks with glee since Disneyland first opened in 1955. However, it’s especially a thrill when actors from an existing Disney film franchise visit a land directly inspired by and modeled after the films they star in!

Recently, two Marvel Cinematic Universe superstars — Dave Bautista and Will Poulter, who portray Drax and Adam Warlock respectively in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise — paid a visit to the Disneyland Paris Resort to tour Avengers Campus!

As described by the resort’s Instagram account, “Avengers Assemble: @davebautista & @willpoulter joined our Guardians of the Galaxy, Star-Lord and Gamora, to celebrate the second anniversary of Marvel Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris.”

The caption was accompanied by two photos, which showed Poulter and Bautista posing with costumed characters portraying Star-Lord and Gamora from the Guardians films. 

The Parisian version of Avengers Campus opened at Disneyland Paris’s Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be renamed Disney Adventure World) in 2022. The land is similar to the original Disneyland version, outside of two major differences. The first is that its central E-Ticket attraction is an exclusive rethemed version of the park’s original Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster entitled Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and featuring Captain Marvel and Iron Man, and the second is a Stark-themed restaurant not present in Anaheim. 

Dave Bautista first found fame working for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in the 2000s. Wrestling under the name Batista, he was one of the company’s biggest stars before ending his full-time wrestling career to pursue acting. His breakout role came as the deadpan Drax the Destroyer in Marvel Studios’ 2014 smash Guardians of the Galaxy. He reprised the role in both direct Guardians of the Galaxy sequels, the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Thor: Love & Thunder. Outside of the MCU, Bautista has appeared in a variety of other films including Spectre, Blade Runner 2049, Army of the Dead, Dune and its sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and Knock at the Cabin. 

English actor Will Poulter gained prominence for his roles in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and We’re the Millers, in 2010 and 2013 respectively, He’s gone on to appear in several film and television series including two films in The Maze Runner series, The Revenant, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Midsommar, and the Hulu miniseries Dopesick. He joined the MCU for 2023’s Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, portraying Adam Warlock.
