Are you planning to visit Disneyland soon?

Now could be a good time to start planning that trip. Fall is just around the corner, meaning you’ll soon see Halloween decorations in the parks, spooky snacks in the restaurants, and the first Oogie Boogie Bash. Well, if you live in the area, you can score a ticket to Disneyland for under $70.
Disney just announced a special discount for tickets for residents of Anaheim, California. If you’re a local, you can score a one-day one-park Disneyland ticket for just $69. Why $69, you might ask? That’s because Disneyland just celebrated its 69th anniversary (the park opened on July 17th, 1955).

The ticket is good for August 5th through September 26th, and you will need to make park pass reservations (remember, they are still required for all Disneyland visitors). You can also add a park-hopper option and Genie+ to the ticket for an additional price. You will be required to show proof of residency to purchase your tickets.

Both Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia officially begin on August 23rd, so you’ll be able to enjoy all the fun fall stuff in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Note that if you want to attend Oogie Boogie Bash, tickets have officially sold out for that event.

During this time, both parks are decorated for the spooky season and you’ll find a variety of special food and snacks available at restaurants throughout Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. You’ll also be able to participate in Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a fun scavenger hunt that usually only costs around $10 (at the end of which you earn a fun prize).
