NEWS: The OFFICIAL Disney+ and Hulu Bundle Is HERE!

Last year, Disney announced that those who subscribed to the Disney+ and Hulu bundle would be able to watch both on the Disney+ app. That program started its beta test in December 2023. Well, now, that feature has officially rolled out and has brought some new features along for the ride.

So here’s how it works. If you have a bundle plan that gives you subscriptions to Disney+ and Hulu, all you need to do is log in to your Disney+ app. There, you’ll have access to both Disney+ content, as well as Hulu content. You’ll also see Hulu content integrated into recommendations, sets, and collections right there on Disney+. So basically, it’s all together in one app now. Note that this integrated content feature is new and wasn’t previously available during the beta testing period.

Joe Earley, resident of Direct-to-Consumer, Disney Entertainment, said “What’s thrilling about the full launch of Hulu on Disney+ is we’re reducing friction for Bundle subscribers. During the beta, the Hulu content was purposefully isolated to the Hulu Hub, but now it will be fully integrated into Bundle subscribers’ homepages.”

This new enhanced experience also includes updates to other parts of the Disney+ app, like personalization, search, viewing experience, and more.

According to Disney, the Hulu on Disney+ beta saw us watching a wider variety of content, including more Hulu content. Disney also pointed out that parental controls and content settings will still help customize content by who’s watching.

The Disney+ logo also got a new color scheme with this shift, combining the green of Hulu’s logo and the blue of the Disney+ logo to create a new teal-colored logo called Aurora. Yes, that’s a reference to Princess Aurora, as well as the aurora borealis.
