Soarin’ is one of Disney World and Disneyland’s most popular attractions.

It’s been around for decades, but over the years, it’s changed from Soarin’ Over California to Soarin’ Around The World. However, Soarin’ Over California sometimes returns for a limited time in Disneyland, and this version of the ride recently spent some time in EPCOT, too. Well, recently, a select few Disney guests got the surprise of a lifetime (and we’re a little JEALOUS)!
When a few Disneyland-goers stepped into the pre-boarding area of Soarin’ Over California, they were expecting to see the regular safety video preparing them for their flight. However, what they got instead was Patrick Warburton, the Chief Flight Attendant in the safety video in REAL life!
This was a super special surprise, as you can see from everyone’s reactions in the video.

Their faces are priceless, and relatable.
When Patrick was interviewed about the experience, he said, “Getting to surprise guests today was super fun, and it’s great to see the impact that this safety intro has made for the past 23 years and how people still love it. It was such a blast getting to be the Chief Flight Attendant for Soarin’ Over California once again!”

We are MAJORLY jealous of those park attendees, but hey, we’re glad there’s video evidence for us to see how it all went down! You can experience Soarin’ Over California in Disney California Adventure while the Food & Wine Festival takes place through April 22nd.
