Nothing lasts forever, so they say.
Over the past few years, we’ve had to say goodbye to several things including many restaurants and certain attractions like Splash Mountain and Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Now it’s time to say goodbye to a restaurant at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
We stopped by the BoardWalk at Disney World on January 22nd when we spotted that Big River Grille and Brewing Works had permanently closed.
The restaurant announced its closure only days before on January 18th and its final day of operation was January 21st. Disney has not announced what will take its place, so we’ll just have to wait and see!
On the 22nd, the sign had already been taken down.
Big River Grille served up classic American eats for lunch and dinner as well as some great beers, ciders, and more!
In case you missed it, the BoardWalk is getting a bit of a makeover! We’ve been watching the construction of the new Cake Bake Shop that is set to open this year.
That’s not all! A Blue Ribbon Corn Dog stand is also coming to the BoardWalk! There is no opening date or timeline just yet, but we can’t wait to see what’s in store. If it’s just like its Disneyland counterpart, you’re in for a treat!
