First Look at the New COOKIE BAR In Disney World

Y’all already know by now.

We are fiends for some sweet treats. Luckily, we are at Disney World every day, and Disney World is loaded with sweets, treats, and delicious food. So, of course, when a new restaurant pops up, we HAVE to go try it. We especially have to try it when the restaurant features a COOKIE BAR.

Summer House on the Lake opened on December 14th in Disney Springs, and while the restaurant space is beautiful in itself and the food here was quite enjoyable, we have to admit — we were most excited about the Cookie Bar.

When you first walk in, you’ll be greeted at the host stand, and to the left of the host stand is the Cookie Bar. You can visit or order from the Cookie Bar throughout your meal while dining IN the restaurant, and have them delivered to your table, or you can join the walk-up queue to visit the Cookie Bar without dining in the restaurant.

Since we were already there hoping to try other foods, we decided to have the cookies delivered to our table. The host/server will give you a separate menu for the Cookie Bar so that you can see all the offerings.

From our understanding, these change out from time to time so there might be different options when you go. However, the cookies we ordered included the Fudge, Cake Batter, Pinky, Lemon, and Crispy Cookie. Oh, and we also got a blondie!

Unfortunately, none of these were absolutely astounding cookies, except for the blondie. (But does a blondie count as a cookie? Not really.) They’re good, they kicked our sweet tooth, but they were just okay. They’re like the cookies you’d bring home from the grocery store.

However, the experience is super fun, and we’d totally do it again as a dessert if we were dining here. However, if we’re looking for just cookies, you’ll still catch us at Gideon’s Bakehouse. That blondie, though? We might just have to pop in and grab it from time to time.
