The Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure is going to be an exciting addition to the fleet. After all, we just found out that a COCO dining experience is coming to the Disney Treasure!

From the stunning scenery to the upbeat musical soundtrack, there’s a lot to love about Coco. So the thought of having a whole Coco-themed restaurant TOTALLY has us interested. Let’s see what Disney shared so far!
Here it is — our first look at the new Coco-themed restaurant — Plaza de Coco. Disney revealed that this will be the FIRST theatrical dining experience themed to the beloved Disney and Pixar movie. The best part? It’s a character meal — Miguel will be onboard the Disney Treasure!

This new restaurant will feature live music throughout TWO unique dining experiences, and guests will be able to enjoy both throughout the duration of their voyage. Disney explained that the restaurant features “theater-in-the-round entertainment,” where the dining tables surround a center stage. The performances, as well as special show effects, will be spread throughout the dining room.

Miguel’s story will pick up where it left off at the end of Coco, as the familia comes together in Mariachi Plaza “to take guests on a colorful, music-filled journey that celebrates family memories and togetherness.” Disney explained that guests will soon be welcomed to join Miguel and his family for “a gathering that honors the heritage of music and love that runs deep in the Rivera family.”

On the guests’ second night at Plaza de Coco, they will see Miguel reuniting with his great-great grandparents, Hector and Mama Imelda, for a celebration of Día de los Muertos. Of course, beloved songs from Coco will be part of the festivities!

As for the menu, guests will enjoy “modern twists on traditional Mexican fare.” Disney hasn’t shared a full menu yet, but we did get a peek at the Cast Member costumes coming to Plaza de Coco on the Disney Treasure.
