2 Reasons Why It’s an IMPORTANT Week for Disney World

It’s a super important week for Disney World fans.

It may only be July, but Disney is already gearing up for the holiday season! We already have dates for EPCOT’s 2023 Festival of the Holidays and we’ve continued to learn about the holiday parties. So what do the holidays have to do with this random week in July? Well, we’re here to tell you!

Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom and the brand new Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios go on sale this week! Specifically, tickets will open on Thursday, July 6th.

Although it took a while for dates to start selling out for Disney World’s Halloween party, the holiday parties are especially popular. And since the Hollywood Studios party is brand new this year, so we expect dates to fill up fast!

We’ve already learned that the iconic Christmas fireworks will return to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party along with an offering we haven’t seen in 4 years! There will also be a brand new Frozen-themed show at Cinderella Castle.

Jollywood Nights is an all-new holiday event that will feature a Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along, photo ops, and special characters including Phineas and Ferb!

Tickets already opened to Disney World hotel guests, so if you want to attend one (or both) of these parties, we recommend grabbing tickets ASAP. Beware — there could be some technical issues when tickets go on sale like we recently saw with Oogie Boogie Bash ticket sales.
