Southwest Airlines Adds NEW Nonstop Flights to Orlando Airport

So many Disney World visitors DO fly, which means even MORE planning has to go into putting together a trip. Flying can be such a hassle, too, but being able to take a non-stop flight to Orlando DOES make it a little easier. So we’ve got some good news: ANOTHER non-stop flight is now available to and from Orlando International Airport.

Orlando International Airport just announced that NEW non-stop Southwest Airlines flights to its airport are now available from Albuquerque, New Mexico. So if you’re in New Mexico and that airport is close enough to you, you have a new and easier option to get to Disney World!

We know that many of you are already big fans of Southwest Airlines, thanks to its unique boarding process, great sales, and free checked bags. So we wanted to make sure you knew about this new route.

Remember, though, that once you get to Orlando International Airport, you’ll still have to make arrangements for transportation to get to Disney World. Your options include renting a car, booking a rideshare service, or using a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect which just merged with Sunshine Flyer.

Once you get to Disney World, you’ll be able to use Disney World’s resort-wide transportation system, which includes buses, boats, the Monorail, and the Skyliner. You can read all about that transportation system here.
