There’s Only ONE Way to Get This 100th Anniversary Disney Souvenir

Disney’s 100th Anniversary celebration is in full swing on both coasts!

At Disneyland, we’ve spotted the new Disney100 Mickey balloon popcorn bucket. At Disney World, the Magic Kingdom added some Disney100 decorations. We also have seen some wild “souvenirs” like this Disney100 car from Hyundai. And while the Disney100 car would make an incredible keepsake, if you’re looking for something unique and much more affordable, we’ve got you!

runDisney hosts events at Disney World like the Disney World Marathon Weekend, and at Disneyland, races will be returning in 2024. You can even do the Coast-to-Coast challenge which will return in 2024. But, did you know you can also run from home with the runDisney virtual series?

The 2023 runDisney virtual series will be happening during the summer and Disney just revealed what the challenge theme for the series will be. This year’s theme is The Disney100 Challenge.

There will be three 5ks for participants to choose from and you get to run wherever you’d like — your neighborhood, on vacation, or even at a Disney hotel. You can complete any one of those on their own, or you can run all three to take on the “challenge.”

While there are not a lot of details about the series yet, Disney did reveal that the finishers medal for those who complete the 2023 virtual race challenge will have a removable magnet portion. That’s right — you get two souvenirs to display your accomplishments.

You can view one of the medals this weekend if you are at the Disney World Springtime Surprise race this weekend. They will have it displayed at the Heath & Fitness Expo. Disney will be releasing more details about the event soon like specific race themes and medals.
