Get ready — there’s a weekend in January 2024 that will likely be incredibly busy in Disney World!
From January 3rd through 7th, 2024, runDisney will be hosting its annual Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! These dates had already been revealed but now we’ve got some exciting race updates.
Disney has revealed the themes and poster designs for the races that make up the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! First up, it looks like the 5K will be themed to the best pal around, Pluto.
Then you have the 10K, which will be themed to that dynamic duo Chip and Dale.
For those willing to run a bit more, the Half Marathon looks like it’ll be themed to Donald and Daisy Duck (we love all the little park and boat elements incorporated into the poster design).
And finally, it looks like the Marathon itself will be themed to Mickey and Minnie, with many park icons incorporated throughout the poster design here too.
Aside from the 4 main races, there are also two challenges. Disney has released the designs for both Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge (looks like Goofy is having lots of fun!)…
…and the Dopey Challenge.
If you really want to take things to the next level, you can take on the Coast to Coast Challenge. To learn more about how to qualify for that, you can click here.
