Fireworks Dessert Parties and Dining Packages Are CHANGING In Disney World Soon

If you’re a fan of Disney World fireworks, you might know that some exciting changes are coming up soon.

Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom

A new show is coming to EPCOT, and we just saw a sneak preview of Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom for the first time in years. The iconic show is returning on April 3rd, and Disney just shared some updates on the fireworks dessert parties and dining packages!

If you would like to enjoy a special dessert party while watching the Magic Kingdom’s evening fireworks from a reserved viewing area, you have several options. Right now, all the Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties are themed for the 50th anniversary, and that’s how they’ll stay until March 31st.

After that, on April 1st, these parties will change slightly, but will have similar elements to what we’re used to. Here’s a look at the different parties:

  • Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party (guests have dessert first and then are escorted to a fireworks viewing area in the Plaza Garden)
  • Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets (guests have dessert and then view the fireworks from the patio of Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant)
  • Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party (guests watch the fireworks from a special viewing area in the Plaza Garden and then go enjoy desserts after)

On April 1st and 2nd, guests will be able to view Disney Enchantment, the current fireworks show. But, when Happily Ever After returns on April 3rd, the parties will feature that show instead!

Reservations for the non-50th anniversary parties will open to guests on March 23rd, 2023. Here’s a look at the pricing for those, which hasn’t changed:

  • Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party — $99 for adults, $59 for children
  • Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets — $114 for adults, $69 for children
  • Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party — $99 for adults, $59 for children

You can expect to find desserts like chocolate silk tarts, chocolate-dipped strawberries, cheeses, and beverages like wine and beer for those who are old enough to imbibe. From what we can tell, not much will change with these parties other than the name.

We also have some exciting fireworks dining package news — at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the “Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort” will end on March 31st, and be replaced by the “Celebration at the Top — Sip, Savor, and Sparkle” experience.

Celebration at the Top Sushi

Reservations for this experience are currently open for dates beginning April 8th. Guests can expect small bites and sushi from the California Grill menu, plus plenty of desserts and complimentary wine, beer, and cordials.

Fireworks Views

And finally, over at EPCOT, you’ll find two different dining packages — at Rose & Crown and Spice Road Table. From now through April 2nd, guests will be able to see Harmonious with these packages, but on April 3rd it’ll switch over to EPCOT Forever.

Here’s a look at the pricing below:

  • Rose & Crown: $89 for adults, $39 for children
  • Spice Road Table: $72 for adults, $31 for children

  1. i know,i already paid for my entrance fee,but,
the rose & crown seating for the epcot finale is a good value.

the food is good, the proximity to the lagoon is good,
& sitting for the show is a totally different experience.
