The Latest Disney Style Trend Taking Over Instagram

Not only is Disney fun for the rides, shows, and snacks — it’s a great place to experiment with your style and put your own magical twist on trending fashions.

We’ve noticed a trend circulating on TikTok and Instagram a LOT lately — and now we’ve even begun to see Disney park-goers putting their own spin on this viral trend.

Coquette style and “balletcore” are currently trending, featuring all things feminine — think pink, lace, frills, bows, and polka dots! (Minnie definitely approves of this one.)

It seems that people have been adding bows to EVERYTHING lately — even over-ear headphones, bags, and popcorn buckets! You must be wondering:  What other ways are the Disney creators taking this trend to the parks?

Many Disney Style creators are taking Mickey ear headbands (the ones without the bow) and tying ribbons around each ear. And — it’s adorable! We tried this trend out for ourselves and the results were amazing.

For this trend, we just ordered some basic Mickey ears and a few other supplies from Amazon.

The plain Mickey ears are currently sold out online, but you can grab them from the parks or take inspiration from this trend anyway you’d like!

We recommend grabbing thicker ribbons in pastel colors or white.

Simply cut the ribbon to your desired length and tie them around each ear in a bow!

You can experiment with the size of the bow and also how long you want the ribbons to hang down — this trend is super cute with shorter ribbon tails AND longer ribbon tails about the length of your hair.
