If you thought EPCOT had a ton of festivals, you should see the festival schedule at SeaWorld!

The good news is no matter when you visit there will probably be some sort of special event going on.
SeaWorld Orlando has at least one special event scheduled within every month of the year and the dates for 2023 were just released so you can start planning for your next trip! One of the bigger events is Howl-O-Scream, an after hours event with separate ticketing. The Halloween celebration will begin on September 8th, 2023, and will be held on weekends through October 31st.

There will also be a daytime companion event called Spooktacular running from September 16th through October 31st. Their Christmas Celebration, another popular event, will begin on November 10th and conclude December 31st with New Year’s Eve fireworks!

The rest of the calendar year is dotted with plenty of other events and celebrations to attend. Coming up on January 28th is Elmo’s Birthday Weekend which will run through February 3rd. For those interested in sampling some tasty dishes, the SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival will take place on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from February 3rd through May 7th.
During this festival the park will also be celebrating several other holidays, including Mardi Gras (February 16th-26th), St. Patrick’s Day (March 9th-12th and 16th-19th), and Cinco de Mayo (April 27th-May 7th). It’s almost like a festival within a festival! The Seven Seas Food Festival has its own concert series too, and this year’s lineup boasts some amazing acts, like En Vogue, Ludacris, and Don McLean.

After the food fest, families can visit the park for Viva La Musica. This festival celebrates Latin culture and will take place on weekends from May 13th to May 21st. Then, it’s time for SeaWorld Summer Spectacular! Dates for this event will occur between May 27th and September 4th, with the Craft Beer Festival also happening during this time from July 28th to September 4th. After that, it’s time for Howl-O-Scream and then the Christmas Celebration. Talk about a packed schedule!

Most of the festivals and events are included with theme park admission; the only one with separate admission is Howl-O-Scream. There’s plenty to look forward to this year at SeaWorld, so be sure to check their calendar to see what sort of things you can enjoy on your next trip!
