Reservations Are Open NOW for Monsieur Paul in EPCOT

The Disney World parks reopened over two years ago, but there are still some things that haven’t gone back to normal.

Many offerings are still missing — things like the Disney Dining Plan, Fantasmic! (which is returning next month, by the way!), and attractions like Enchanted Tales with Belle and Voyage of the Little Mermaid. There are also several restaurants that haven’t reopened, but one is coming back very soon!

Monsieur Paul at EPCOT’s France Pavilion is an upscale restaurant serving (you guessed it!) French cuisine. It has been closed since the pandemic began, but it’s reopening on October 18th…and reservations are available NOW!

That’s right, you can now book reservations for this gastronomic experience, and we suggest that you hurry — Disney World’s fancy restaurants are often notoriously hard to get into. Keep in mind that reservations can be booked 60 days in advance of your trip, so if you’re visiting more than two months from now, you’ll have to wait to reserve Monsieur Paul until your dining date.

We’ll be there on reopening day to test it out for ourselves and report on any changes, so stay tuned. We’re covering all the reopenings as they continue to happen around property, and we’ve got all the advice for how to handle Disney World’s changes on your next vacation.

  1. There is something special about eating “upstairs” at the French pavilion. Going all the way back to when the restaurant was known as Bistro de Paris, you always felt special going around the corner in the back and entering through that little door away from the busyness of Chefs de France and ascending the circular staircase. In its new incarnation as Monsieur Paul, it still brings that special feeling – that you are dining in an exclusive place where taste and service are paramount. The staff at Monsieur Paul is outstanding and the food is delicious. Monsieur Paul always hosted our favorite wine lunches during the Food & Wine Festival (back pre-pandemic when those events were held). We have always had incredibly creative and flavorful meals upstairs at Monsieur Paul, shaking our heads in disbelief that such great entrees were found in a theme park. We cannot wait to return!!
