It’s no secret that Disney vacations are not cheap.

In fact, the costs can really add up quickly! You’ve got to figure out your accommodations (on property or off property?), decide where you want to dine, and of course, purchase your park tickets. It can be overwhelming! Luckily, there are a few different discounts available to certain Disney World guests — no skipping meals or compromising needed! And, we’ve gathered a list of the most important info you need to know.
We’ve put together this list based on the types of discounts throughout Disney World that are consistently or regularly offered to guests. Each of these groups has its own set of specific discounts at merchandise and dining locations, tickets and tours, and more. Occasionally, Disney will offer discounts to all guests in the form of resort and vacation package deals as well.

Annual Passholders
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders receive multiple different discounts on merchandise, dining, and resort stays. For example, right now Annual Passholders can save up to 25% at select Disney World Resort hotels through July 7, 2022.

Passholders also receive dining discounts (typically 10-20% off) at participating locations, and money off of merchandise purchases (varies by location), plus complimentary parking at Disney parks. Not only that, but APs can also get a deal on recreation, events, entertainment, and Disney Spa treatments!

Guests must provide a valid Annual Pass and photo ID to take advantage of these discounts!

Disney Vacation Club Members
It’s no secret that Disney Vacation Club (a.k.a. DVC) members get some of the best benefits in Disney World — they receive discounts on rack rates at Disney Vacation Club Resorts and complimentary parking at Disney parks — and that’s just the beginning.

Dining discounts typically range from 10-20% off at participating locations throughout the parks and beyond. DVC members also receive discounts on merchandise, sports, and recreational activities. Need a spa day? DVC members receive 15% off select services at participating Disney spas and 20% off at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel’s Mandara Spa.

One of the most desirable discounts offered to Disney Vacation Club Members is the Annual Pass discount (basically a ticket deal in disguise!). DVC Members and their immediate family receive a discount on new and renewed Disney World Annual Passes. Keep in mind that most Annual Pass sales are currently paused, however.

Florida Residents
Florida Residents can also save on their Disney World vacation! Disney occasionally offers deals on multiple-day park tickets along with Disney Resort Hotel discounts, too.

It makes sense for most Florida Residents who travel to Disney often to purchase an Annual Pass (you can learn about how many visits it takes to break even here). Luckily, Disney offers some of the lowest prices on Annual Passes exclusively for Florida Residents — in fact, 3 of the 4 annual pass tiers are only available to Florida Residents (just note that currently, only the lowest tier is currently being sold by Disney).

In order to qualify for any of the Florida Resident discounts, guests must provide valid state-issued Florida or military photo ID.
Disney Visa Cardholders
Guests who have a Disney Chase Visa Rewards card receive discounts on merchandise, dining, tours, recreations, and more too!

Not only that, but Visa Cardholders can enjoy exclusive character meet and greets in the parks! In both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios you’ll find special character interactions exclusively for Disney Visa Cardholders. Just note that only the meet and greet location in EPCOT has reopened as of this writing.

For a full list of all the discounts available when using your Disney Chase Visa Card, be sure to check out our Disney Chase Visa Discounts page.

United States Military
Disney offers discounts to both Active and Retired United States Military personnel. Shades of Green is a resort located on Disney property that provides inexpensive accommodation for members of the U.S. Military and their families.

Military personnel can also receive discounted tickets to Disney World theme parks, and these offers vary based on the time of year. Planning a Disney Cruise? Members of the U.S. Military can also save on select cruise bookings.

Certain dining and merchandise locations may offer military discounts as well.

Right now, Disney+ subscribers can receive a discount on certain Disney Resort hotel rooms most nights July 8th, 2022, through September 30th, 2022.

This is currently the only discount offered to Disney+ subscribers, but you can be sure that we’ll keep an eye out for additional discounts.
