Disney Releases Matzo Recipe to Celebrate Passover

Disney releases many recipes for all sorts of occasions: holiday celebrations, movie nostalgia, or to bring some Disney food magic from the parks into your home.

And if you’re celebrating Passover this year, then you’ll definitely want to check out this new recipe that Disney dropped online!

This matzo recipe is easy to follow and super quick — you can thank Mickey and Minnie!

Ingredients

• 2 cups shurma or all-purpose flour
• 3/4 – 1 cup of cold water
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Directions

Preheat your oven to 550ºF, then, combine your flour and water in a large bowl. Knead the ingredients until they’re mixed well and you have a ball of dough.

On a flat surface, use a rolling pin to roll the dough out to about 1/2 an inch thick. Cut the dough into 4 equal-sized pieces and use a fork to lightly poke the dough until it has holes all over.

Place the four pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until your matzo is slightly bubbly and golden in parts! Matzo is best served immediately, so take it out of the oven and enjoy it with friends or family.

You can choose to serve your matzo with as many toppings as you’d like, or serve it at the ritual feast that marks the beginning of Passover, called Seder.
