Since Summer 2020, Disney World has been slowly reopening and getting back to “normal.”
We’ve been following every part of Disney World’s reopening from the resorts, to the restaurants, to the experiences. We’re always excited when another Disney World staple comes back. This EPCOT spot — Akershus — has some hidden-gem Princess dining, and we finally know when it’s coming back!
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion serves up Norwegian cuisine with a side of royalty! This is a great place to spot some of your favorite Disney Princesses. Akershus will be reopening on November 4th, 2022!
This spot has some seriously yummy food, great theming, and traditionally some of our favorite Disney ladies with Storybook Dining, so we’re excited that this one’s coming back!
Akershus serves up all kinds of Norwegian-inspired cuisine family-style, including Traditional KjØttkaker featuring Norwegian meatballs or the Kylling og Melboller, a Norwegian take on chicken and dumplings. But, they’ve got that more traditional American cuisine as well — with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Grilled Salmon, and Macaroni & Cheese.
Reservations can be booked beginning October 24th, so mark your calendars if you want to be at Akershus when it reopens.
