A lot of changes are taking place in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District!
Lovepop and Pelé Soccer have recently opened, offering guests two new places to shop during their Disneyland visit. But with a massive expansion project on the way, a few shopping and dining locations will close by the end of the month.
By the end of January, three Downtown Disney locations will close their doors in order to make room for the planned expansion. First up is Sugarboo & Co., a boutique shopping location located next to the former AMC Theaters. The shop had its closing day over this past weekend on Saturday, January 15th.
The next location to close will be Earl of Sandwich. The counter-service dining location will have its last day of operation on Thursday, January 27th.
On Saturday, January 29th, Starbucks West will have its last day of operation. If your first stop at Disneyland is Starbucks in Downtown Disney, don’t worry — the second location across from World of Disney will remain open.
Just as a reminder, the Disneyland Monorail will close on February 14th to accommodate the construction happening in Downtown Disney. The Monorail is scheduled to stay closed through Sunday, March 6th.
