As the holidays wrap up in Disney World, some Disney fans are preparing for the next big event in the parks — the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!
The iconic race weekend is returning for the first time in-person since 2020 and will be themed to celebrate Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. And, while we’ve already seen a peek at the newest runDisney merchandise coming in 2022, Disney has also shared a look at some of the exclusive items that will only be available for runners between January 5th to 9th!
Along with the EARidescent-themed medals, this year’s Marathon Weekend is set to feature merchandise covered in the purple, gold, and blue color scheme that we’ve seen in the parks for the 50th-anniversary. And, runners will be able to pick up everything from the popular “I Did It!” shirts to a brand new runDisney spirit jersey!
There will also be a variety of tank tops, long-sleeve shirts, jackets, and hats featuring the race weekend’s logo.
Plus, runners will be able to show off their athletic accomplishments with items like the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend MagicBand, mugs, car magnets…
…and even an ornament.
These items can all be found at the runDisney Expo, which will be open January 5th through 8th at the following times:
- Wednesday, January 5th — 10AM to 8PM
- Thursday, January 6th — 12PM to 6PM
- Friday, January 7th — 10AM to 7PM
- Saturday, January 8th — 11AM to 3PM
